How often did soldiers change clothing in World War 1?

Generally speaking, a soldier could get a fresh set of clothes every two months or so. A typical battalion would have three companies, with two companies serving in the front-line trenches, and one company stationed several hundred yards behind them in the battalion reserve position. Companies rotated positions weekly (or so), so a soldier could expect to spend one week out of three in the battalion reserve position. When in the reserve position, soldiers were able to wash their existing uniforms - new uniforms were in scare supply, and generally would not be available there. So, a soldier would wear the same uniform while serving in a front-line battalion, with the opportunity to wash it (often, without sufficient soap to do a good job) about every three weeks.

New uniforms could be obtained only when the battalion rotated out of the front-line and into the divisional reserve position, something which would happen every 2-3 months (depending on the nationality of the Army, and the amount of action the unit saw). While in the divisional reserve position, soldiers could expect to get normal laundry service on their clothes - that is, they could expect to get them completely laundered at least one (and maybe twice) while in reserve. In addition, changing seasonal clothes could expect to happen only in reserve.

If taxes are increased disposable income?

No, in fact if the government takes less of your taxes it allows you to spend more of the money you earn. When you spend more, you help more businesses and with everyone doing that, the general economy inproves. But some politicians want to increase taxes, leaving you with less money and hopefully leaving you more dependant on the government so that you'll start to believe that the only way to survive is to depend on the government... thereby supporting a "tax and spend" policy. Personally, I'd rather be in charge of supporting myself.

Wow, all that Republican dribble at the end would be considered an opinion and it contradicts what others who have graduated from Econ 101 would consider fact.

The answer to your question is:

No, tax deductions and disposable income have an inverse relationship. As one increases, the other decreases.

Can non military personnel wear military uniforms?

Not legally. You could be charged for impersonation of a military Member, but as long as you arent wearing any distinct identifiers (ie Capbadge, or unit Slip-ons/ Eppilates, Rank, Pins, Medals & Badges, Regimental Buttons) You haven't earned and the clothing isn't a restricted item (Canadian Cadpat) and it is legally purchased at a surplus store (for paintball, airsoft, camping) etc

How many people have died in the air force?

Several thousand, surely. Count all the aircraft accidents since the Air Force was formed in 1947, and the combat losses in VietNam, plus combat losses in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq, plus common hazards like traffic accidents, and you can accumulate quite a total in 64 years.

Which is still a pretty low number, for as many people have been in the USAF, and for something as inherently hazardous as aerial combat and working on, in and around big jets.

War between usa and Russia who would win no nukes?

It would be 50/50 depending on where it was.

Assuming the war did not go nuclear, the United States has the most technically advanced military giving them a big advantage in conventional war, however, it really depends on who attacks who first. Regardless of which, the war would be enormous. It would easily dwarf WWII and the lives of Americans and Russians would greatly be changed. It would not be hard to assume that a large majority of the invaded population would be killed. And in the case of the United States, a loss of democracy and an installment of a police state that would be hard to get ride of for years to come. Due to the fact that liberty would be dropped to help the war effort such as the draft, limitless president terms etc. think of the Patriot act but 10 times more so. It would be a reasonable prediction that the US would win the war (don't forget US allies such as NATO), but it would be an extremely heavy pyrrhic victory. So much so that the country wouldn't really even be the US anymore but something new. To put it blunt there would be no winner.

Advantages/Russia

Russias biological Weapon systems out number U.S. and Russias tanks, helicopters, vehicals outnumber U.S's

Advantages/U.S.

U.S's infantry are highly trained,so as helicopter pilots, tank drivers, vehicals and any plane fighters are convoy pilots.

U.S. technology is greater then Russias.

U.S. has more task force specilized armed fources then Russia.

U.S. has more allies like,Canadian armed fources,UK armed fources,Europe specilized task fource.

Although it depends where the war happends.if Russia attacked unknowingly U.S. would have a devastanting critical hit.(CoD MW2)even if so U.S. armed forces and the natinol guard would be alerted before Russia would even get to fire one round on U.S. soil. task forces would be alerted, allies would be called in and Russia will probly be flanked from all directions.

if U.S. attacked unknowingly they wouldent do it in fource(probly like Russia would)they would send in U.S. navy seals to one side and send in task forces to wipe all natinol defence then come in like WW but risk surrounding countrys.

if they did use nukes the whole world would turn on either country who started the war.

Can I joint the Air Force with four kids?

The US Army does not have any restrictions on the size of your family. I also think the Army does a good job of providing basic housing and enough money to support a family if you manage your finances responsibly. However, you must be able to provide a family care plan and prove that your kids will be taken care of if\when you deploy to a warzone. You may be discharged for not having a family care plan or if you are unable to deploy.

The entry requirements for joining the UK Army depends on which role you choose(eg. officer or soldier),how old you are, your education qualifications, nationality and overall health. These are the main areas for you to be considering if you are interested in joining the army and having any number of children would not affect you whatsoever if you are to join the army.In other words, it does not matter if you have four children, you can still join the army.

Hope this has helped:)
