What is the force that is created by a rocket called?

How can you find out why a relative was awarded a medal?
This would be listed in their discharge papers. If you don't have that you can PROBABLY get a copy by going to the National Archives and Records Administration website http://www.archives.gov/research_room/vetrecs/ and requesting it. I say probably because many records were lost in a fire in 1973 but they can usually find copies of discharge papers from other sources.
However, in the case of the Bronze Star, it may not be listed on the discharge papers. In 1947 Congress authorized all WWII recipients of the combat infantry badge and combat medic badge to receive the Bronze Star. Many vets weren't even aware they were entitled to the Bronze Star.
Other than the Medal of Honor and Distinguished Service Cross, there are no centralized registries of Military decorations.
Or you could just ask them
Some nations DO have central registries of military medals and awards, going back, in some cases, 175 years. In the British and Commonwealth nations, the awarding of honours and medals is recorded in the Offcial newspaper of Parliament, where all new laws and regulations are also published.
In Great Britain that publication is the London Gazette, in which every military award is listed after it has been presented to the recipient.
In France, the lists are kept by the Marshall of the Lists, in the main armoury in Paris.
In Canada the lists are kept by Veteran's Affairs Canada, and are available on-line thru their website. EVERY man who served Canada in World War One ( 1914 to 1918 ) has his records available to the public thru the Canadian Archives website, all 665,000 of them.
The information above is incorrect. A DD-214 (Discharge Certificate) should list all awards and decorations a servicemember received, but would NOT say what it was awarded for. A certificate awarded with the medal would have a "narrative" listing what the medal was awarded for. A copy of the Certificate would be in the Official Personnel Record.
How much do security forces make?
Depends on the rank, individuals of matching ranks in different branches make the same amout of base pay. An E-1 in the Army and an E-1 in the Air Force make the exact same.
For that matter, an E-1 Air Force Security Forces member makes exactly the same as an E-1 Air Force Avionics Technician.
If you are looking to go into the military for the money there is no difference between similar ranks in any branch. What you need to check on is bonuses, incentive pay, hazardous duty pay. Those are the things that will make a difference in your pay.

Do you pay tax on your salary Florida?
Labor is taxable when parts are supplied as part of the service.
If no parts are required for the service then the labor is not taxable.
Repair Labor Only
Charges for repairs of tangible personal property needing only labor or service are not taxable. The dealer must keep documentation to prove no tangible personal property was joined with, or attached to the repaired item. The sales tax and surtax apply when parts are used in the repair even if the parts are provided at no charge.
There are exceptions to the answer above. There are five types of services that are specifically subject to sales tax in Florida, even if there is no tangible personal property provided. (1) Investigation/Security Services, (2) Commercial Cleaning Services, (3) Commercial Pest Control Services, & (4) Detective Services. There is a fifth as well - imposed on people that manage rental property for other people.
I am a Florida CPA/Attorney that does almost nothing but Florida sales and use tax controversy. I hope this addition to the answer helps. James Sutton, CPA, Esq www FloridaSalesTax com

How can you get discharged from the military?
I assume you are talking about an early discharge? The ONLY person who can help you is the priest. You do not need to have any type of religion to talk to him, DON'T LIE. Be very convincing when you talk to him, Beg him to help you, Tell him how you have made the worst mistake of your life by joining, Do exactly what he advises but without failure let him know how bad you want out. His job is to convince you to stay, but, He is the only one who will help you get out too. GOOD LUCK, Miracles take time, don't expect to be home in less than two months.
add-on - no you don't have to go talk to the priest (oh and by the way there aren't priests in the military, there called chaplains, but there isn't a whole lot they can do to help you, they don't know the legal aspects of things ) and it depends on how you want to get discharged, if you want to get an honorable discharge (helps get jobs) talk to the career planner or Legal Assistance. If you don't care about honorable discharge, there are plenty of ways to get a dishonorable discharges (will limit you to what jobs you can get, and will also put you lower and the scale by employers as a possible candidate)

How much money do you pay in tax?
The amount one pays as income tax depends on their TAXABLE income. It is a percentage of that income. The exact percentage used depends on the level of that income. Taxable income depnds on many things: Earnings from employment for sure, earnings from other sources (investments, government payments, etc.), and even then certain items of each may be not included, or things you may not receive in cash may be included. For example - the contribution to a 401k is not taxable income, even though it is part of your salary. On the other hand, certain benefits you may receive, like employer paid life insurance, car allowances, even access to a cafeteria that has reduced prices because of an employer supporting it), may result in taxable income to you. Once the amount of taxable income is determined, then thedeductions to that income are applied. For example, interest paid on the mortgage for your home, number of dependent children, number of other qualifying dependents, medical costs, certain expenses of making that income, state taxes paid, etc.). Hence, any 2 people, holding the exact same job at the exact same salary and benefits, may well have 2 entirely different tax amounts due. Once the amount of taxable income is determined, looking at the tax rate charts (made by filing status, for example single filer verses married filing jointly),for that income determines how much one actually must pay. I'll try and provide a link to a chart.
How long does it take to drive from Boulder CO to Colorado Springs CO?
You can make the drive from downtown Denver to Colorado Springs in a minimum of 1 hr. with a few important conditions:
-It is not rush hour
-by "downtown" you're not too far from I-25
-You're going to the Air Force Academy
This is an easy drive during off peak hours. The Academy is at the northern edge of Colorado Springs and the speed limit is 75 MPH most of the way there once you get out of the Denver-metro area. From the N. Academy Blvd. exit (#150) through the Springs to the S. Academy Blvd. exit (#135) the speed limit is 65 MPH. Add another 1/2 hour for this area. Leaving Denver during the evening rush it's best to wind your way south through the city (e.g., Speer Blvd to University to Cherry Creek Drive S., etc.) to avoid the I-25 backup from Colfax to the I-225 interchange, and get on I-25 as far south as possible. You may encounter some backup through the Tech Center area, but once you pass E. Lincoln Ave. and the Sky Ridge Medical Center and the speed limit jumps to 75 MPH you'll be fine.

What the biggest air force base in the us?
Fort Hood
It's not ft hood, not sure why you would say that, you're not checking your facts before responding and writing that incorrect answer
The largest army base in the world is white sands missile range in New Mexico, it's at least 10x larger than any other army base in the world.
the largest base with a bct or tradoc is FT Bliss, it's 2 - 3 times larger than ft hood.
It's a very easy search online to see how large an army post is in either sq miles or sq kilometers.
Ft hood currently has the most soldiers stationed there, but around 2014 when ft bliss completes its major rennovation it will have 65,000 more soldiers, family members and contractors working there putting it neck and neck with hood has having the most people on base!!!!!!
