First off the terms 'die' or 'kill' is inapplicable to vampires as they are already dead. The proper term should be 'destroyed'.

A vampire can be destroyed by anything that totally reduces their structure. For most a simple hacking apart suffices however there have been thoroughly dismembered vampires that have reassembled themselves and carried on.

A stake through the heart does not kill a vampire. This is only to pin them down in their coffin so they can't get out. When the stake rots away the vampire is free again.

The best thing to do is burn them thoroughly.

There are people with blood fetishists who drink human blood, but a vampire is a person who physically needs the blood, not just enjoys drinking it. Dhampirs don't usually bite people as they have no need to steal life-force. They are still alive and can get by on ordinary food perfectly well. Most Dhampirs are vampire-hunters, despise the vampire conditions and the life-style.
But then, what if a Dhampir was to consider his distant future? What if the thought of an ordinary death wasn't all that inviting? Would he/she start to consider making plans for the future; setting things up for the time when he would have to make 'the choice'?

If so, then are Dhampirs capable of passing on the vampire condition? It is potential in them. Many have left instructions concerning their body and burial for after they die so they won't become a real vampire after their death. So could they infect people with the condition while they are alive?

To become a vampire is a delicate process, involves reinfection over a period of weeks with the victim in a weakened condition, and eventual death at rather the right moment. If a Dhampir were to make a vampire then he would have to do it knowingly. And as most Dhampirs are rather bigotted against vampires this doesn't seem likely.

If a victim survives the induction then they do not become a vampire, in fact many vampire thralls (kept people for feeding purposes) appear to become immune to the fate. Considering this it would seem that the vampire contagine in Dhampirs is somehow suppressed, hiding within the genome. If this is true than a Dhampir could not create a vampire.

It depends on what rules govern the vampires you are referring to. In some fictional universes vampires can be killed by sunlight, a wooden stake to the heart or fire.

If you are unsure, bring:

wooden stake, metal stake, cross , holy water, UV light, garlic, Rifle, Machine gun, pistol, grenade and bombs, medi-kit, antidote for if you get bitten

pack of blood- distracts the vampire.

wolf- vampires either hate or love wolves, either way it will distract you (or the wolf will turn against you and try to kill you)

I recommend you don't hunt vampires, they are really hard to kill and if they don;t want to be found you will have trouble finding them.

Some vampires aren't evil and don't drink human blood, only animal blood. Or if they have to drink human blood they don't kill or turn the victims. So make sure you only hunt evil vampires!!

Not all vampires and werewolves are enemies. So it really depends on the different werewolves and vampires around because if they are enemies then they would have been enemies since they started disliking each other.
