There are many places where one can purchase no contract mobile phones. Best Buy, Target and Walmart all sell mobile phones like this for purchase. HTC and T-Mobile also sell no contract phones.

Usually, on any current cell phone, you can shut off the power of the phone, and then and take the back off, and then take the battery out, and then blow on the battery. That usually takes off all of the dust from the battery. After blowing on the battery, place it back in the phone, put the back on the phone, and then turn the phone back on. I believe (after hours of research) that AT&T has a contract with apple so that they are the only carrier of the iPhone, the contract , I think, is for 5 years I don't know when the contract started but you might wanna just get it with AT&T for a 2/yr service and possibly you either might like it and want to get more service by them or the contract between apple and AT&T will not be in effect.
