It's when you strip opiates of a drug that prevents them from being used recreationally. For example, Vicodin contains hydrocodone and acetaminophen. Hydrocodone is the opiate and acetaminophen prevents Vicodin from being used recreationally. It would take me 8 5-500 Vicodins to get high, which means I would be ingesting enough acetaminophen to cause damage to my liver, so if I were to take the 8 Vicodins I would first perform a cold water extraction on them. I would do this by crushing the pills up to a fine powder and placing the powder in a bottle of water with a ratio of about 10 pills to 1 cup of water. I would then thoroughly shake the water bottle, poor it into a bowl and immediately place it in the freezer, stirring it about every 10 minutes to prevent freezing. After about half an hour I'd take the solution out of the freezer and pour it into a cup through a coffee filter. The result is a coffee filter full of white acetaminophen powder and a cup full of opiate-water.
