Well, the question is really too vague to be answered. You said gross weight, implying you want a loaded weight. Volvo manufactures and sells many different models of trucks worldwide. We have no way of knowing if you're referring to a Volvo truck in the United States, South Africa, Australia, the United Kingdom, etc. The allowable gross weights will vary between jurisdictions. Also, you did not say what configuration of truck - again, for all we know, you could be referring to a single axle straight/rigid truck, a tandem axle, a tandem axle with additional lift axles, tandem axle twin steer, single axle articulated truck, tandem axle articulated truck, etc. Typically, however, a sleeper cab truck and daycab truck are allowed the same gross weights.

Contact a Volvo dealer with a minimum of the last 6 of V.I.N.. They can get you a build sheet for the truck when it was new. CARFAX also collects information on class 8 trucks, so try them as well.

i just had this issue u cant swap relays fuel pump relay in tray under ashtray black relay in front row is a pump relay and a blue or greenone second row at top DO NOT SWAP!!!! i fixed car by putting green/blue relay 1st row 3 relays over and it worked u can swap these but make sure u test connectors first to verify they can be swapped or jump pins 87 87a i believe relay 1st row 3rd to right but use ur head

In a 98-00 Volvo V70 the cabin air filter is located under the black plastic panel in front of the passenger side front wiper. There are two torx-head screws to remove and may have to remove the black zip-tie plastic retainer on the rubber tube that directs water down away from the engine. Then pull up the plastic cover and its obvious that the cabin air filter is underneath. All this must be done with the hood open and takes about 5 minutes, one replacement filter and one torx screwdriver. You can find the replacement cabin air filter at ipdusa.com or fcpgroton.com for arounf $15 or less. Anyone can do this themselves, do not go to Volvo for this.

I am in Australia so it is right hand drive but the flasher unit is located behind the bonnet latch on the far right hand side of the vehicle. Might be left for you but you have to remove a plastic cover under the steering wheel. Then the flasher is located at the top of a fuse box under the dash. you would have to lay on the floor of the vehicle to be able to see it. Take a torch, it's a bit dark.

When one of the low beam burnt out you still have high beams on both sides although it isn't receommended you drive with the high beams on because you run the risk of everyone calling you names since your blinding them . NO it doesnt effect anything, just replace the bulb the run about 12 bucks

Under the hood on the drivers side there is a Positive cable connector under a black cap near the fuse/relay box. Connect you positive (+) jumper there first. Then, WITH THE KEY OFF! connect your negative (-) jumper to the big aluminum mount on the left top of the engine. Now use the key and jump start as any other car. Make sure the key is off so as not to suddenly send a spike of voltage into the CanBus network when connecting the cables!
