They hate rubbing alcohol....it takes a few weeks but if you dab the warts once or twice a day they will go away. For a very bad infection, it could take years but they will die. Update: There is this thing called the "Wartabater" (which is about $75) that uses radio frequencies proven effective at killing warts at the source. I have used it on two on my thumb and my foot (there is a probe that you stick into the wart and run for 3-5 minutes...it can sting, but is worth it) and slowly but surely they started to fall off and die. I would also recommend taping them to try suffocating the warts and make the treatment more effective. But, if you don't want to shell out 75 bucks for this machine, I would also recommend the garlic treatment. Scientists have found that some ingredient in the garlic is antiviral and can help kill warts (note: this is long, requires patience, and can be a little unpleasant--you tape the garlic to wherever your wart is and wait for it to work its magic).
