To find and possibly purchase a cheap laptop webcam, one can consult Amazon or any other general online mall. Stores, be it online or physical, concrete stores, will most likely carry any item. A cheap laptop webcam is no exception.

Dell webcams are most easily purchased on the Dell website where one can check out software requirements and compatibility with other components. Alternatively they can be purchased in pc stores or online at Amazon.

If you've got a Dell computer, you should be able to download it from the Dell support site. If not, you can probably still technically download it, but it may not work.

Dell normally makes only the latest version available. If you're trying to get an old version (I have no idea what the current version number is) you're probably out of luck. You might be able to get it from Creative.

You can't but I use a digital CAMCORDER and the picture is greatly improved.

Voice delay is all but inevitable when using most webcams. The reason is that the USB interface is not fast enough to send data from the camera to the computer without lag, choppiness, and loss of audio-visual synchronization. The only real choices are to purchase a faster FireWire webcam, or to use a traditional video camera and a video capture card.
