I had forgot my password before. and look through all the internet. there are some methods I find. You can access the Administrator account through the login prompt without logging into safe mode. If the computer utilizes the welcome screen instead of the standard NT domain login prompt, you can press Ctrl + Alt + Del twice to get to the login prompt. This is only true if you are running Windows XP Professional Edition. Windows XP Home Edition will also allow you to use this method to log on.
You can aslo to use a Windows password reset software to remove the forgotten password when you are locked of windows. It allows you to burn bootable CD/DVD or USB flash drive to reset windows password.
Step 1: Download and install Windows Password Reset
Step 2: Run the application and insert CD/DVD or USB flash drive in computer
Step 3: Burn the CD/DVD or USB flash drive
Step 4: Set your locked computer to boot from CDROM or USB
Step 4: Remove lost windows password with the burned CD/DVD or USB flash drive.
I have used Windows Login Recovery Professional and removed my Windows password forgotten.
1: Start Windows Login Recovery software, select Reset local account password for Windows 7/Vista/XP/2008/2003/2000, and then click Next.
2: Insert the CD/DVD or USB flash drive into the computer. Select CD/DVD or USB, click on Burn to start burning a password reset disk.
3: The password reset disk will be successfully burned automatically then. Then click Quit when finishing burning.
then you can use the password reset disk to reset windows password. It worked great for me. Hope it works for you as well.
Reasons for double clicking could be multiple and without additional info I'm not trying my luck at analyzing the cause.
If you're satisfied with disabling one of the clicks or moving them onto other buttons (including keyboard) you might try a tool to globally disable/rebind one of the clicks. Like AHK. AutoHotkey. Google it.
