Boot the system off the original installation CD and drag the system folder on the hard drive to another spot (do not delete it). Then just reinstall the OS, reboot, then inside your saved system folder drag out any item you will need for the fixed system.
4) Apple (MacOS X - any version)
Boot the system off the original installation CD and perform a installation recovery.
If, in any of the above cases, you do not have the original installation CD please stop and seek professional assistance because you run the risk of losing data if the procedure isn't followed properly.
The touchpad software can be found on Toshiba's official support website, there should be one for Windows 7. If not, Vista drivers and software will often run just as good on Windows 7.
