Can not delete file access is denied the source file may be in use?

The quickest way to resolve an inability to delete a file from your hard drive, due to the "access denied, the source file may be in use" error is to first try restarting your computer and attempting to delete it a second time. If that doesn't help, pull up the command prompt by clicking Start, Run and typing cmd then clicking OK. For help using the command prompt, see reference link below.

Do ASP files contain virus or can you exclude ASP files while scanning?

Well sometimes the the antivirus programs detect asp files as viruses. That has happened with me it was a .asp file which used scripting.filesystem object.

So yes if your antivirus reports a virus... do check with the developer(s) if that's a legit file or not.

What causes the message 'danger your PC memory is low on resources' and then your PC freezes up?

Simple and Good Answer - I wont delete the older answers lolBasically you need more RAM plain and simple ^^ getting a bigger HDD wont help really lol all you need is more RAM ^^

Best fixes:

1. Buy more RAM

Other Fixes:

1. Increase Paging File

2. Cut down on use of program running in background and foreground

3. Disable unnessecery services etc.

Do Not:

1. Buy new HDD and use more virtual memory as HDD is over 100x slower access than RAM

Extra Information:

RAM - Random Access Memory

HDD - Hard Disk Drive

Answer

This problem usually refers to your virtual memory (a portion of your hard drive that Windows allocates and uses as RAM) this is also referred to as the paging file. In the Windows system settings there is an option to increase the size of the paging file.

AnswerGenerally when you get that message it is generally just that "Low on resources". Typically I see machines that have very little hard drive space remaining exhibit this problem. I generally recommend that at a minimum 10% of the total drive capacity remain free in order for windows to operate properly. Another cause could be low RAM. Depending on what Operating system you have minimum recommendations will vary. Generally, I recommend 64Mb for Windows 98, and 256Mb for Windows 2000/XP. 2000/XP will run on less but not very well. If you can start by cleaning up your hard drive, empty all Temporary Internet files. "Right click the Internet Explorer Icon and choose "properties"" The option will be available on the first tab. After you do this proceed to delete all files located in any "Temporary" directory. Such directories can exist as follows "C:\Temp" or "C:\Windows\Temp", or "C:\WINNT\Temp" etc. Hopefully this is a start to correcting the problem.

Answerneed to get more memory. says it is low. theres gotta be some thing easy to get more just don't know much about computers. Answerwindows seems to have a little problem ,showing that message, especially if trying to view a downloaded video or copy downloaded vid to a disk i have 83% of memory empty but i often get that message from windows when doing videos so far windows hasn't or wont supply a remedy or reason OuchWindows doesnt have a miracle remedy for this particular problem. Might want to free up as much space as possible or invest in a 5 gig 6200rpm or even a 7200rpm hard drive(im not sure if they make 5gb in those speeds, i don't think they make 5gb at all anymore) just to set it to be a Page File. So when you run out of RAM while running other processes the 5 gb hard drive now turns into a extremely(in comparison to a real stick) slow 5 gig stick of virtual memory to allow Windows to run smoothly. So instead of buying that 512mb DDR PC3200 stick of ram, you can spend about 20 bucks(max) and be set if you are just watching Videos and stuff like that. As to how to set a HD up as a total page file. Im not sure off hand ATM, but it is easily found through a search engine or dabble in Wiki Answers for a explanation. Its simple as reserving a designated amount of space to be used for Windows and Windows Processes. Im hoping you have at least 256mb of RAM for XP(RECOMMENDED RAM info credits to Shawn). With the service packs and security measures of the current windows, its extremely rough to have just 256, im going to have to go with 512 as a minimum if you want to keep up to date and still run smoothly.

How do you permenatly delete files even after you delete from control panel?

Well, when you delete something there are always files that are left behind in your registry. I use a program called revo un-installer which looks for all files related to the program and puts them in the recycling bin.

I apologize if this isn't what you were looking for.

How do you configure a HTTP server using Windows XP and a Linksys Wireless router?

Windows XP was designed as a PC operating system, so it lacks much of the software needed to operate as a server. A couple of the needed items are World Wide Web Publishing Service and IIS(Internet Information Service). These services are used to manage and broadcast websites, and are not contained in XP. You may be able to find 3rd party software that will enable XP to operate as a web server, but I'd suggest going with Windows 2000 or 2003 so the functionality is build into the OS.

How do you remove phony script errors that keep popping up on your screen?

I believe that these errors only occur under Firefox, so one alternative is to use a different browser. The only problem is that many web sites officially support only Internet Explorer and Firefox, and Internet Explorer has its own problems.

You could use a third party browser, like Crazy Browser, and then open Firefox only when a web site tells you it requires Internet Explorer or Firefox.

What is pane of windows explorer?

Windows Explorer is a file manager application that is included with releases of the Microsoft Windows operating system from Windows 95 onwards.

  • It provides a graphical user interface for accessing the file systems.
  • It is also the component of the operating system that presents many user interface items on the monitor such as the taskbar and desktop.

the windows Explorer Window is has two separate areas called "panes" as in panes of glass. The left pane shows the contents of your hard drive in a "hierarchical"structure.

  • Hierarchical just means that you have a topmost folder which expands into other folders, and then those folders can expand to show more folders, and so on
  • If a folder has a plus sign "+" next to it, it means that you can left-click on the plus sign to expand that folder further.
  • The right pane of Windows Explorer simply displays the contents of any folder that you click on the left pane.
  • In this way you can easily view all of the folders and files on your computer. It also makes moving them around easier as well.

Memorex Why does portable CD player start and then stop playing?

because it's a cheap boombox and it sucks! i have the same boombox with the same problem and have been scouring the internet for a solution. it seems more and more apparent that my solution is just to go buy a replacement. spend more than $20 or you run the risk of getting another mediocre product. will never buy a memorex cd player again! back in the day, memorex had the best recordable audio cassettes but i don't recommend their cd boomboxes, not if you're looking for something that's gonna work right for over two years time.

Hit the collections button to open the collections pane and then start deleting.

Since WMM does not have an option to select all, and for some reason will not let you select multiple items in the collection pane, if you want to clear all or some of the items follow these steps.

1 Go to View>Collections , a new panel where the old Task pane was should appear, in it should be a list of all your files in the Collections pane.

2 Select the first video you desire to delete, Hit the [Del] Button on your keyboard, then hit Enter, repeat this over and over until all your files are gone.
