Although there are probably multiple causes for this, in my personal experience it is because of lowered blood pressure. When my blood pressure drops I feel lightheaded and dizzy, and I know that sometimes relaxing at the end of the day (or after a lot of movement) will lower my blood pressure quickly. The best solution I've found is to just lie there for a bit, or sit bent over with my head between my knees, and the feeling will pass.
