Click the following menus on the left to open the folder:

4) CurrentVersion ,
5) Internet Settings ,
6)*** Now using the right click,
DELETE the entire sub-folder called: Zones
7) Close RegEdit and reopen Yahoo Messenger!
BANG...with a bit of magic, now everything works again...
