What was the battle of Jericho xy?

The Battle of Jericho is a biblical event described in the Book of Joshua, where the Israelites, led by Joshua, conquered the city of Jericho as they entered the Promised Land. According to the narrative, the Israelites marched around the city's fortified walls for six days, and on the seventh day, they circled the city seven times before the walls miraculously collapsed after they shouted and blew their trumpets. This victory symbolized God's support for the Israelites and their faith in Him as they established their presence in Canaan. The battle is often seen as a demonstration of divine intervention and the power of faith.

Does precognition tell the future through prophecy?

Precognition refers to the ability to perceive or predict future events, often described as a form of extrasensory perception. While some people may interpret precognitive experiences as prophetic insights, the phenomenon is not universally accepted or scientifically validated. Prophecy typically involves a religious or spiritual context, where predictions are believed to be divinely inspired. In contrast, precognition is often viewed as a psychological or intuitive response to subconscious cues rather than a guaranteed foreseeing of future events.

Why wouldn't the angel give Jacob his name?

Well, honey, that angel was playing hard to get, giving Jacob a taste of his own medicine. Angels are like that sometimes, keeping things mysterious and leaving us humans scratching our heads. Maybe the angel just wanted to keep Jacob on his toes, who knows? Just one of those divine mysteries, I suppose.

Did Daniel of the Bible have children?

A:The Bible briefly mentions more than one Daniel, but the Daniel in question is only mentioned in the Book of Daniel, which does not mention him as having children. Biblical scholars, for example Leonard J Greenspoon (The Oxford History of the Biblical World, Between Alexandria and Antioch: Jews and Judaism in the Hellenistic Period), say that the Book of Daniel is an early Jewish novel, so the question can only be answered from the book itself.

Additional Answer:

There is no Scripture stating Daniel had married and had a child(ren). Indeed, it is strongly inferred that Daniel was made a eunuch - unable to have children - not only in the Book of Daniel but also in 2 Kings and Isaiah.

This also seems conclusive in that Daniel was not originally placed in the Prophets section of the Hebrew text but in the Writings - considered a lesser in degree of importance. A eunuch was looked down upon by the Jews.

What are the two Jericho walls?

The outer wall was a massive defensive structure built to protect the city, while the inner wall provided an additional layer of defense for the inhabitants. Did David Wilkerson commit suicide?

Still under investigation by Texas Department of Public Safety. David Wilkerson died in a car wreck in Cuney, Texas on April 27, 2011 however circumstances of the wreck leave only five possibilities. Wilkerson either steered his car or drifted into the path of an oncoming tractor trailer. He was not wearing a seatbelt and his blog posts, especially that of the day of his death showed a man despondent and even questioning his faith.

First it is possible that he experienced a medical emergency, if so the death is a tragedy.

His car could have experienced a casualty that resulted in Wilkerson losing control. However the car was a late model Lexus and this would be improbable though possible, if this was the case his death was a tragedy.

It is possible that he was distracted or inattentive and accidentally crossed into the path of the oncoming truck, if this is the case his death is a tragedy but was certainly preventable.

He was being treated for Cancer it is possible that medications that he was taking caused him to fall asleep at the wheel. Again a tragedy.

Finally the one that most people don't want to contemplate is that he intentionally steered into the oncoming tractor trailer. Unfortunately this could be the case. No seat belt, the accident occurred on a straight two lane US Highway as he crossed a bridge and his writings of the previous three months indicated that he was chronically depressed, questioned his faith, talked often about unanswered prayers and doubts about his own faith to the point of even talking about despairing of life. Thus while we don't want to think about this, especially because Wilkerson wrote a book on suicide and called it "an unpardonable sin" and because he is viewed as one of the most genuine ministers and evangelists of his era. The fact is the possibility of suicide cannot be discounted simply because we admire him.

Where in the Bible did Jesus ask God to prepare a body to go down and redeem man?

"For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins. Wherefore when He cometh into the world, He saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared Me: in burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure. Then said I, lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of Me,) to do thy will, O God." (I (Heb.10:4-7)

Additional thoughts:

Jesus didn't so much ASK for a body, as recount the event.

Another translation of the above scripture at Hebrews 10 says "Therefore, when Christ came into the world, he said: "Sacrifice and offering you did not desire, but a body you prepared for me..."(NIV) This fulfilled prophecies at (Psalm 40:6-8)(Isaiah 50:4-6)
I don't think you'll find that exact quote. A search in BibleGateway (for "prepare body") turns up only one quotation, Hebrews 10:5; but it seems to be quite unrelated to the question (searcing in "King James Version"):

4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin thou hast had no pleasure.

Of course, it's possible that it says something similar in somewhat different words.

What enabled Joshua to become the leader he was?

Joshua had been Moses' right-hand man since his youth (Numbers 11:28), and his chief disciple; and was constantly found in the tent of Torah where Moses taught (Exodus 33:11), so as not to miss a single word of Moses' teaching. He could be trusted to reach correct decisions (Numbers ch.13-14); and was successful in battle too (Exodus ch.17).

As Moses approached the time when he would have to hand over the helm of leadership, Joshua turned out to be the best choice to carry on, and God named him as Moses' successor (Numbers ch.27). It was Joshua who led the Israelites into Canaan (Joshua ch.1).

Can the Antichrist be a woman instead of a man?

Great question. While it is possible for a woman or women to be "Antichrist", as the Bible speaks of individuals or groups of people (not just men) who oppose God and His purpose as being just that ( Dan. 7:25; 8:10,13; 11:40, Dan. 7:7-28, 1 John 2:18,22; 4:3, 2 John 7) The Antichrist, as it relates to the end times, will be a man. Dispensationalist look for a future Roman ruler who will appear during the Tribulation and rule over the earth. Amillennialists interpret the term symbolically. In Revelation, the Roman Caesar is the evil force. The Antichrist will be male as Revelation 13:18 says " Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man: and his number is six hundred three score and six."

Answer:

Nowhere in the Bible does it speak of "THE Antichrist." The Bible says that there are MANY of them:

"...as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there MANY ANTICHRISTS..." (I John 2:18).

The Bible warns of "two men" who shall work in conjunction with each other in ruling the world during the soon-coming most distressful period in world history that Jesus calls "Great Tribulation" [Matt.24:21].

Who shall bring all life on earth to the brink of cessation [see verse 22].

These two men, the Bible calls the "Beast" and the "False Prophet"... not, "THE Antichrist." [see Rev.19:20, where they are destroy upon Jesus' return]

"THE Antichrist" is an invention of men through their ignorance of the scriptures.

Many antichrists, according to John, were around when John wrote his letter. These are folks who "deny the Father and the Son" [please note: John does NOT say: the Father, Son and Holy Spirit].

Antichrist is a SPIRIT... a prevailing ATTITUDE in the world regarding Jesus Christ and the laws of God. It's a spirit "anti" [or AGAINST] Christ. A rebellious spirit that's been around since Adam and Eve chose Satan as their god in the beginning.

Many, many, many people in the world, blinded by the god of this world... possess that "attitude" against Jesus Christ and God's Truth.

And some of these people are "WOMEN." So, women, too, can be among the "many antichrists" in the world... but there is no "THE Antichrist," male or female.

Additional Comment:

The simple answer is NO.

There have been in the past-and are now-manyAntichrists! And underlying all of their deceptions is the "spirit of Antichrist"-the wrong approaches and false doctrines which have blinded billions of human beings from understanding God's Truth. The "doctrine" of Antichrist is not understood by most of the world's religious leaders.

The word "Antichrist" is first introduced in 1 John 2:18. "The Antichrist" about whom they had heard is the "lawless one"Paul wrote about and the "false prophet" of Revelation. Yet some mistakenly identify the Antichrist as the coming world dictator and political system called the "Beast" in Bible prophecy. They forget that the real "power behind the throne" is the mysterious "harlot" of Revelation 17, and that this fallen woman "rides" or controls the Beast of Revelation.

The Bible interprets the term woman in Rev. 17 as a church here who has entered into adulterous alliances with the leaders and kings of this world (v. 2), and the inhabitants of the earth are made spiritually "drunk" because of her false teachings. She is a "mother" church-giving birth to spiritual "harlots" (v. 5). And, as indicated, she deals in "mysteries," as did the ancient pagan religions before her (Begun in 1st great Apostasy of Cush, Nimrod, Seriramis). This church is the great religious power spoken of in Daniel 7 (little horn).

The political leader of the Beast power teams up with this religious power under the direction of the dragon (Satan) and causes World War III. It should be clear that the term "Antichrist" does not apply solely to the false prophet-though he will certainly be the leading spokesman teaching the doctrines of Antichrist. Rather, as most modern scholars acknowledge, "Antichrist" simply means a spirit or person in opposition to Christ.

Two hundred million - most likely a combination of Russia, China and other Far Eastern nation which many believe India will join into this future Confederation:

Are there three fossils from the Flood and how would they relate to breaking God's laws?

I believe there is mounds of evidence of Fossils from the 1st earth iteration (see 2nd Peter Chapter 3), none of which break any of our Fathers laws, but factually support his word. There are 3 earth iterations defined in 2nd Peter Ch 3.

1) The age of Dinosaurs which ended with a flood at the casting down (Revelation 12) the katabole

2) This earth age you live in now (of the Flesh)

3) The eternity ... After Judgment

Why does man suffer according to the Book of Job?

AnswerAccording to the Book of Job, man suffers because God wills it.

In this story, God tells Satan to harm any of Job's family and rob him of his possessions, simply to prove whether Job would curse God for his part in these disasters. When this plot failed, God told Satan to try even harder, even to cause personal harm to Job, as long as he did not kill him.

When is Jesus coming back?

First, when Jesus told Caiaphas and the court that condemned him to death that he was the Son of Man who would come "on the clouds of heaven" he was not speaking of his second coming but of the judgment of Jerusalem (Matthew 26:63-64). As Caiaphas and the court well knew, clouds were a common Old Testament symbol pointing to God as the sovereign judge of the nations. In the words of Isaiah, "See, the Lord rides on a swift cloud and his coming to Egypt. The idols of Egypt tremble before him, and the hearts of the Egyptians melt within them" (Isaiah 19:1). Jesus employs the symbolism of clouds to warn his hearers that as judgment fell on Egypt, so would it soon befall Jerusalem. The "coming on clouds" judgment metaphor was clearly intended for Caiaphas and the first century crowd who condemned Christ to death. The generation that crucified Christ would see the day that he was exalted and enthroned at "the right hand of the Mighty One."

Jesus' coming on the clouds to judge Jerusalem in the first century points forward to the end time when he will appear again "to judge the living and the dead" (2 Timothy 4:1). A day is coming when "all who are in their graves will hear his voice and come out-those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned" (John 5:28-29).

Answer: at the end of days (revelations), there will be signs like earthquakes, famine (starvation), wars and rumors of wars, any of these sound familiar, personally i think the signs have started but The Bible says not the angles in heaven OR THE SON (Jesus) but only the father knows when, so its unknown to anyone when it will happen all we have are the signs, now I'm not saying o its coming soon NO it may be another 100 years or more all I'm saying is i think the signs have started

Answer: In short, when we least expect it.

Answer: The Bible is very clear in Matthew 24:36 that no one knows the day or hour of the second coming of Jesus Christ. So whenever someone sets a date for the end of the world or the second coming, then you can know they are not speaking the truth.

Now in saying that, the Bible also teaches that we CAN know when the second coming is near from the signs of the end times (Mark 13:29). And the signs that are in the world today show that we are living in the end times and the second coming is not too far away.

You are told specifically when Christ will return "at the last or 7th Trumpet"

Its difficult to believe that even though it's written very plainly, many here tell you it can not be known. Did Christ tell you that you can not know when he returns? Kind of, but his comment was very focused concerning the exact moment (year, month, day, hour). However, he did give you signs to watch for; which would define the end times, the establishment of the kingdom of Satan playing fake Jesus (Antichrist) and the length of Satan's reign (5 mo - Rev 9), and an entire set of Seals Trumpets and Vials to observe in order to keep on track concerning those events and his return. A Watchman watches for events... signs.

So what is the answer to the question when is Jesus coming back? The summed up answer is simple. Christ will return at the 7th trumpet which occurs on the first day of the 7th month. which occurs at the end of the 5 month reign of Satan playing the fake Jesus (Antichrist) (Rev 13).

The more difficult task is getting your ducks in a row concerning the chronological order of events which occur prior to, and during the 5 mo reign of Satan as Antichrist. This would require a knowledge of scriptures, specifically the prophecies of Daniel 8, 11, and 7 (in that order) and the book of Revelation (Daniel 7 dovetails into Revelation), and all the words of the prophets which support the prophecies of Daniel and the warning signs of Christ and the detailed support provided by the Prophets about key and specific events which will occur. It takes quite a while to search these things out in scripture and understand their progression in time. For this reason, many simply cop out , by saying "you can't know when that time is", however what is written the word contradicts that claim.

Where to Start:

  • 2nd Peter chapter 3 (the key of David)
  • Acts 17 and Colossians 2 (understanding who the philosophia are and what their doctrine is)
  • Then Matthew 24, Mark 13, and Luke 21
  • Then Daniel 8, 11, and 7
  • Then the Book of Revelation
  • Then the major and minor prophets, Specifically Jeremiah 24 which set the timing for the beginning of the end times (1948).
This sequence will get you in alignment with the majority of events.

How large of a global population can the Earth support?

There is no definitive answer as it depends on factors like resource availability, technology, lifestyle choices, and environmental sustainability. Some estimates suggest a range of 9 to 10 billion people, but achieving a sustainable balance between population size and Earth's carrying capacity is a complex challenge. Implementing efficient resource management, conservation efforts, and sustainable practices will be crucial.

Where does the Bible mention Christmas?

It doesn't. Christmas was created by church leaders to celebrate the birth of Jesus. The Bible does not record his birth date.

this person is right but it does mention that he was born in a stable, with his mother Mary, when she was about 13 (possibly wrong).
