They are almost exactly alike, although the IPad is much bigger.
Depends what I would need it for. It depends on what you need it for and how much money you want to spend on it. I would get 16 for normal use, 32 for a loads of music, photos and a few videos and 64 for loads of music, loads of pictures, loads of apps and some videos. It all depends on how much...

The iPad does not support Adobe's Flash Player, but it can run HTML5, which is a dynamic graphic environment like Adobe Flash. Since it doesn't run Flash, you won't be able to play online or Facebook games that use Flash.
This is a very valid question a lot of people are asking. Flash apparently takes up a lot of memory, and Apple wants to keep the iPad at optimum speed. Although flash doesn't work on it, youtube does. Also, Flash was built by Adobe, not Apple. If flash is compatible with iPad or iPhone, people will...
Yes, Skype is available on the iPhone, the iPod Touch, and the iPad. Since there is a Skype application for the iPhone and the iPod Touch - and ALL applications from the above can run on the iPad - you can install the Skype app on the iPad. There is a built-in microphone so you can...
If You have a wireless printer, then the iPad can connect to it via Wi-Fi and print remotely.
The "i" in Apple products stands for "internet". This goes back to the introduction of the imac.
The 'i' in iPad like all Apples breakthrough products comes from IVE as in JONATHAN IVE the genius who designed the products. Source: wikipedia.org/wiki/Jonathan_Ive
Not yet, but it's highly suspected the next generation will have one, which should be announced very soon.

they are for basically computer uses and iPod in one. but it is not like the iphone, you can't make calls from it. An Ipad is mainly a touch computer, but you can download games and movies and have face time with friends!!! :) Well actually you may have calls from your iPad if you add apps to it....
It does not come with Microsoft Word but you can download a free version of Word, Excel or PowerPoint from the App Store. Unfortunately, the free versions of these Apps are only for reading and if you'd like to edit files, you need an Office 365 subscription, which you can buy within the respective...
It is called the iTampon because when a lady gets her period she uses pads, then gradually moves on to tampons. So people call it the iTampon instead of the iPad. They both relate to a woman's period.

Apple Inc invented the iPad. The apple company made the iPad. The owner Steve Jobs made it to have a portable PC with you. To take technology to the next level.
it was initially thought by Steve jobs, the guy under everything apple, we know it was designed by Jonathan Ive, chief in hardware design for apple
Apple Inc, headed by Steve Jobs came up with the name iPad, it t fit into their trilogy of i'P' names- such as iPod and iPhone. There were many proposed names for the iPad before it was released, among which were iSlate, iBook, and iTablet but Apple officially launched the product with the name...
Apple inc.Apple man Apple
Released in 2010. They've probably been working on it since mid 2009.
The iPad is much bigger, and is basically a Touch Screen portable computer. The average iPod just plays music, videos, games, and displays photos. They have many other very small differences, too. The real big differences are 1.Size 2.Price Unless you using it for Ebooks or you have really bad...
If you mean to send a message from an ipad to a phone (or any device that receives texts), yes, you can. The only thing is is that you need wifi or 3g. You can send texts by installing an app from the app store that allows you send texts (the one i use is called Text Now. You can send texts and make...
Rather not. Apple has not implemented a speech technology in any of it's iPods, iPhones and also in iPadsStarting from OS 3.0 every Apple device supports the Voice Over function that can read to you every text.
Yeah i think it is awesome with the big screen and the way you can get doodle jump too
A case would be good to have so it doesn't break and that's about it... but even that isn't necessary. Also, if you don't like touch-screen keyboards, Apple sells iPad compatible keyboards.
Apple INC. started the iPad on the 23 of April, 2008. there were 5 people on the design/programing team (including me). it was very complex programming it then making all the apps able to fit the screen and some other stuff that's why it took almost two years. How long ago did the iPad 1 first...
yes apple just announced it on January 27, 2010
Jonathan Ive, at Apple.Good question :)
Well, the iPad was released April 3, 2010 if that's what you're looking for.
Copertino, California.
The latest iPad (3rd generation) was released in March of 2012. There MAY be a smaller iPad (7") released in September or October of 2012.
you can get a 16gb 32 gb or 64 gb flash drive
No, the ipad is not out yet. It will come out March 3rd.
The iPad is a lot bigger than the iPhone. However the main differences are based on the primary use of the device. All iPhones are smartphones. Their main function is to communicate. They can also provide media for the user to enjoy, especially music. But movies, and reading activities are limited...
simple answer - no. MacBook Pro can do so much more. yeh well Ipad is also pretty cheaper
If you are referring to the music capabilites, then yes. The iPad can play music.
No, you don't have to pre-order the Ipad if you do not want to. You can just wait until they are in stores and go buy one, but if you want to be one of the first persons to get an Ipad delivered to your door the day they are on sale then yes you should pre-order it because i really doubt you can...
It already has so you must have posted your question a long time ago
it look like the ipod but only it is biger and more stuff
No, the iPad doesn't come with a built-in camera.
The iPad mini can fit in a large pocket. A normal iPad could probably fir in a medium purse. a normal iPad could probably not fit in your pocket.
Apple iPads currently start at $399 for the second generation and $499 for the third generation models (US prices).
Yes, you can demo them at Apple, Best Buy, Wal Mart, and any other place apple has set as a registered dealer.
Its used for lots of things, It can be used for making videos, taking photos, playing games, working online, and much more. its like a computer with no keyboard. (it is a touch screen keyboard.)
No, you cannot adjust the sensitivity level.
Well really the ipad is a bigger and more powerful iPod and update and can be used as a tablet computer
it depends on which model you buy but from £400-£1,200 (I'm actually answering this question on an Ipad in Currys
You can purchase iPad directly from Apple Store, from Apple websites or from a Authorized Apple Dealer in your City or country.
Formerly, the iPhone OS had no name, but since the new update of 4.0, the iPhone, iPod and iPad OS is now known as "iOS".
it allows for phone like calls, using VoIP (voice over IP) calling, allowing the user to call other skype users. the ipad does not have an integrated webcam though, so video chat will not be available standard
The iPad was invented to be a computing device that was smaller and easier to operate than a computer, but used the familiar interface of the iPhone.
There is no answer. But I do know it is coming out Late March
Well it has a bigger screen better 3G then an iPhone and better HD
Yes..It is the first ever tablet to ever be just so practical... It's too easy for mac it seems....It's NOT just a large iTouch, and even if it as, that isn't bad. The iTouch makes it easy to surf the web, send emails, and use apps. Even if the iPad was just a bigger iTouch, and I'm not saying it is...
Im would really like to know this as I have a 3G 64gb ipad on its way. I think that the only way would be to use the usb camera connection adaptor, however I have watch utube videos and it only seems to support input devices such as microphones etc. and a printer is an output device so I'm not sure...
Yes, you can plug a keyboard into the iPad, but only if you buy the keyboard dock from apple. It charges your iPad, and when you are not using the iPad you ca just enjoy your photo collection while the iPad is charging.
you can get educational apps, and it is a computer so you can look stuff up on the internet.
0.5 inches thick
between 9 and 20 dollars, depending on definition (high vs standard). same price as on itunes

Apple does not support flash on any of there products, you cannot have Adobe flash on an Apple product.
kids ipad is 200$ and adults or teenagers is 500$ for 16 GB
iPod touch. Definetly! The ipad has MUCH less features than the ipod touch and it is the SAME EXACT THING except the ipod touch has more feautures. the new ipod touch 4g is also a video phone. YOU CAN'T DO THAT ON A STUPID IPAD! Believe me, buy the ipod touch. IT ROX!
Ipad or Ipad WIFI can access WiFi network ( like Ipod touch) where as IPad 3g has SIM card slot and can access internet where WiFi networks are not available ( you require Data Plan from AT&T in US) for Ipad 3G if you want to access internet where WiFi network is not available. What happens if...
The person who invented the i pad was steve jobs
Yes! You can do many things on the iPad! Access anything on the internet from music to news and from videos to Facebook and Twitter! You can download eBooks or type emails! The iPad can do so many things!!
Yup (: its awesome i already have one
Most likely in the same places you would buy an ipod, because it serves the same function that an ipod touch does. It will probably not be sold with computers, as it runs modified iphone software not regular computer software, or the Apple store
The short answer is that the screen is touch sensitive. The operating system responds in ways that satisfies the touches and gestures that the user make on the screen.
You can hold an iPod in your hand and i would estimate its about 2x4. An iPad is more like a computer and it's probably about 5x8.
Ipad is like a computer. Except some things,we can do everything by an ipad like a computer. We can easily takeipad from one place to another easily. For establishments likebanks, restaurants, airlines and hotels, security of the device isa prime consideration. We can easily place an ipad with an...
There is only if you purchase the WiFi & 3G version, then for the 3G there is a contract needed with AT&T, but this can be turned on and off, it is not a 2-year contract. But for the regular WiFi iPad there is no contract required.
well as i heard the touch screen can be damaged easily if it drops it doesnt have a camera and it doesnt have support for adobe flash player
Steven Jobs was holding a wi-fi model of the iPad, or as far as I can tell. The 3G Model has a black band about an inch long on the back, as you can see below:
I think ipad is better , but ipad is expensive.
If you mean IPAD then their are two kinds you can buy ranging from about 500-800 dollars
Yes it can. The browser it uses is safari.
The Wi-fi model ships in late March and the 3G model ships in late April
This is more of an opinionated question, but like Steve Jobs said, "This is the year of the copycats." If you have/have not seen the commercials lately, there was one for Samsung, Blackberry, and many other companies that have used the same idea as Apple, but instead label it as a "tablet". It is...
I added a couple of links that will help.
The Apple iPad's touch screen is 9.7-inch (diagonal) in size, with 1024-by-768-pixel resolution at 132 pixels per inch (ppi).
The ipad is available now. The wifi and wifi 3G ipads are both out
No, i pads do not suck! They are like laptops except they don't have the keyboard thingy. It is touchscreen.
No... the iPad does not come out until late in March for WiFi, and late April for At&t 3G (+$30/mo)
A replacement screen for an iPod Touch can be had for about $80.00. So, it would probably be around twice that, at this time. However, in the future, as more iPads are sold the price will come down. One can only conjecture at this time, as the iPad hasn't been made available for sale yet. The price ...
