If rust stained several garments, launder them in RIT rust remover or a similar product. For a small number of rust spots, wet the garment, sprinkle Zud cleanser on the spots, gently work it into the material, wait about 30 minutes before rinsing or rewashing.

I have used nail polish remover very sparingly or you can try goo gone.

I know I personal looked online everywhere on how to get a crayon off walls,cabniets.door, everything. I figure it would work about the same as sharpie too the best one i have tried and used yet that is home practical is toothpaste and a toothbrush or small scrub brush but only white toothpaste a colored paste will stain whatever you use on it. it comes right off for crayons anyways and i had tried every cleaner or anything on it and nothing got it up so i tried it before goo gone stuff and it worked WELL. try that.

Seconding the GooGone product - but, perhaps you should give the Mr.Clean Magic Eraser a try? Though, be warned, I'm not very familiar with either product for this particular usage, so I'm not sure if it will "strip" the paint from your walls, etc.....Goo Gone, you basically put a pea-sized amount on a wash rag (microfiber works great so I hear) and work it into the stain until it comes up. But not sure about the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser, but it does get rave reviews!

Rub it with Goof Off, then gently slide a craft knife blade under the edge and lift it. Most times it will come off easily as this flooring has a very hard glossy finish. If a residue mark is still apparent, rub it with Goo Gone.

These type of cleaner pads are not really safe to use on leather as they are abrasive and can remove the finish or pigment along with the dye transfer.. Dye transfer on leather can be removed using a leather safe cleaner like LTT Maxi Cleaner which was developed for that type of problem. If it cannot be removed with this then the problem is a technical one rather than a cleaning one and should be resolved by a qualified technician.

Use acetone. It'll eat it right out. And probably the couch material as well.

A good carpet shampooer should do the job. If you don't own one, rent one as they are commercial machines and much better than the ones you buy. If you have a "Home Depot" hardware store where you live then rent your machine from them and use their product "ZEP." Use the upholstery nozzle and go at it. Doesn't take much. You might as well do all the seats while you are at. Read the directions on the tank of the machine and DON'T SOAK the areas you are cleaning. It's the foam that does the trick. If you don't have a "Home Depot" then go to any large grocery store and they rent out commercial shampooers. If you keep your vehicle very clean and it's just a few spots, just buy the shampoo product, put some in a basin of warm water, take a medium small brush (even a mushroom cleaning brush will work or a tooth brush) and lightly scrub away. Then rinse well.

If you are concerned about the fringes becoming entangled with other things in the wash, it is best to use a mesh laundry bag. They are available at many stores quite inexpensively. I picked mine up for $1.

Disconnect the chandelier from the power supply. Place a thick blanket on the floor under the fixture, which will soften the fall should you accidentally drop a crystal prism. Climb the stepladder and remove all the bulbs in the chandelier that can be removed without using tools. Clean in sections. Carefully remove the crystals from a section of the chandelier, and place them on the first towel. Wipe and buff the frame. Reassemble the fixture, being careful not to twist the chandelier too much, since doing this can loosen it from the ceiling.

Nail polish remover could be used, but it is going to thin the polish out as it dissolves it and it will spread into a bigger yet lighter stain. To try to avoid this, I would soak the nail polish stain as well as a decent size area around the stain with nail polish remover. As soon as the nail polish dissolves, which may take some gentle scrubbing with a brush, I would flush the area with running water. Once wet I would apply an adequate amount of industrial hand cleaner such as Goop, to break down the solvents of the polish and remover, then rinse in water again. I've seen this method used on a pair of white linen pants and it worked great. The results will depend on the type of fabric the blanket is made of and it could ruin the blanket altogether depending on the fabric. I would try a small amount of the polish remover on perhaps a corner of the blanket first to see if it attacks the fabric or any dyes in the fabric.

Well you dont put it on in the first place because it looks so obvious that it is there i have done it and with a £45 pair of addidas canvas shoes that were white then i put them in the wash to get the whitener out didn't work i tried everything, doesnt work, best thing to do is...

Im assuming that the hair glue has completely dried unfortunately u cant remove hair glue with any type of chemically that wont damage your couch...but you can try and use a tweezer and softly pick at the glue and see if it comes up that way... hair glue is one thing that is extremely hard to remove from any surface...hope this help! You can purchase several products that are able to remove dried latex paint from carpet. I have personally used GooOff. Also, I know that some organic carpet pastes, such as Quick-N-Bright, and a steel brush work well for paint that has been worked deep into the carpet.

First treat the crayon stain with WD40 let sit for a few minutes then treat again. Then treat with liquid dishwashing detergent and work it in gently. wash in as hot a water as you feel safe with

use a laundry detergent and color safe bleach

wash at least 12 min on high

rinse with warm water.

This suggestion is meant more for washable fabric obviously but if you are careful I think that you can make it work for you. the WD40 is the trick to break it down and the dish detergent is a grease fighter. I wish you well.
