Try to remove as much of the sticky substance as possible by hand if possible. We used a ladder to get to ours (a toy eyeball) and a spatula. Left in the spot was a bit of residue. I was able to remove the remaining stickiness with a white towel and dish soap.

If it's silicone, as is likely, then get most of it off with a sharp edge of a craft knife and the rest with acetone or lacquer thinner on a rough rag.

Be careful about cleaning bronzeware!!! From what I understand from the antique dealers I know, too clean really messes with the value! A "patina" is something desired on bronze. Of course, just plain grime isn't wanted at all, but clean it gently with a soft cloth.

The One Pound coin does not rust, it is made from an alloy of nickel and brass which are both non-ferrous metals and therefore iron oxide (rust) cannot develop.

If the coin has any collector value, such as a Proof coin, DO NOT CLEAN IT.

If the coin has no value other than its face value and is just something you would like to look nice and keep, try any of the commercially available jewellery cleaners or, drop it into a glass of fizzy soft drink for a few hours. There is sufficient acid in a soft drink to take the average crud off most coins, but the finish of the coin will suffer.

Take out your mp3 and wash it. Note: Only Cold Wash cycle and do not but in dryer, air dry.

My favorite cleaner to use in the bathroom is Mean Green. Spray it on liberally, allow it to soak for a few moments, and give it a little elbow grease as your wiping it down. Depending on how stubborn the stains are you may want to use a plastic scrubby like scotch pads. If that doesn't seem to be working, mix up 1/2 to 1 cup baking soda and just enough ammonia to make a very thin paste. Spread this mixture on the stains and once again give it several moments to work. Go back and use your scrubby pad. Hope this helps!

Mix a solution of warm water, a few drops of Castile or liquid dish soap and a few drops of vinegar. Dampen a cloth with the solution and wipe down surfaces. Do not saturate the leather, as too much water will damage it. Use a second cloth dampened with clean water to wipe off the soap.

Silver tarnishes because it reacts to the sulfur/hydrogen sulfur in the air. I assume that if the necklace is tarnishing so quickly it likely means that there is an unusual amount of sulfur or hydrogen sulfur in the air or, more likely, the reactant in the silver that causes ir to tarnish is found in an unusually high amount in that particular piece of jewellery.

Removing color release powder from stamped concrete can be a very labor intensive process. It will involve using chemical stripper to take the sealant off the concrete. Then, using a bristle brush and a diluted acid, scrub the concrete as much as possible to remove the color release powder.

Depends on the type of superglue. Most superglues will come off of a smooth stone (eg granite) countertop with some water, a knife, and some other good scraping flat edge. There is also probably a chemical reaction you can find(google is your friend) to undo the sticky bond of the superglue but the scraping is easier and probably safer for your countertop.

The fist thing you do is you get a bucket of warm water (It doesn't have to be scolding hot, just warm). Then wait til he is sleeping and place his hand into the bucket without him noticing. By doing so he will wake up and find the he has peed in his pants!!!

My advice would be to use "model Master's" clear parts cement and window maker glue which goes on colorless and dries completely clear.

Clean the plastic as soon as possible after the smoke damage. DO NOT TOUCH IT WITH YOUR BARE HANDS!!!! You must use plastic gloves. The oils from your hand will cause further damage. First vaccuum the soot off. Next use a vinyl eraser (white is best) and "erase" the soot. Lastly use an ammonia cleaner (i.e. 409) to clean the surface. Good Luck.

Goof Off will dissolve it, and then you can scrape it off. You can buy a small can of it for less than $5 at a hardware store or homecenter. It's very handy stuff to have around the house. It removes glue, paint, ink, and so on.

They are usually alcohol-based - so they evaporate quickly. The best (and cheapest) way to keep a screen clean - is a slightly damp (not wet) cloth wiped over the surface once a week.

Try to peel it off first, and what's left I suggest soaking it in a solution like water & alcohol, and to get the glue off try scrubbing with a soft steel wool pad (such as those to clean algae infested fish tanks).

If the tape glue is really stuck (or you have an expensive mirror you don't want ANYTHING to happen to) there is a product called Goo-Gone which I LOVE. It gets stuff like tape, crayon (if you have kids or were acting like a kid) and all that other stuff off of pretty much anything. It's kinda oily and you have to make sure all the residue is off of your mirror to prevent streaks - but it's really worth it. It gets bumper stickers off windows in trucks and it works perfectly.
