Doctors wear these when they are examining something like your nose. They will position a light behind you, so the reflector shines the light back up your nose so they can see better. Ear, nose and throat (ENT) specialists are thus generally the only ones you will see with them on. Though some interested GPs may still use them.

This is a terrible situation to be in and I feel for you. Being dismissed from PM is not always the fault of the patient. Lots of times circumstances conspire against a patient and they cause the patient to look bad. Whether it's your fault or not, you must now gain the trust of another Pain Management doctor. I believe the only way to do this is to get a referral from a doctor. Unfortunately, in situations like these your word may not be good enough. So you may need someone trustworthy to speak for you. If you have a doctor that can do this for you, ask them to plead your case with the PM doc and see what happens. Do you have a GP? If so, would he/she be willing to treat you for a period of time so you can show compliance long enough to repair any trust issues? Then he/she could go to bat for you with another PM doc.

I'm sure there are many medications that a doctor can give to a patient after surgery, but I know I have been given hyrdocortisone. It is normally given in IV form and is then called Solumedrol. Hyrdrocortisone is a form of Cortisol, which the adrenal glands produce naturally. Cortisol is the hormone that wakes you up in the morning and then again in the middl of the afternoon. Ever have lunch, get sleepy and then suddenly get a burst of energy? That was your body producing about 20mg of Cortisol! So it stands to reason that if your body produces cortisol to wake you up in the morning/afternoon, another form of that hormone will do the same after surgery. Cortisol/Solumedrol directly controls your heartbeat, your respiration, pulse and blood pressure. The more of the hormone in your system, the faster your heart will beat, the faster your lungs will pump and the higher your respiration, pulse and blood pressure. Prednisone is another form of Cortisol, produced in a laboratory and is therefore very pure and very powerful.

If it moves,it's on the skin.not on th ebone,so that leaves 5 things-pimple,cyst(yuck!,insect bite,stuck pore,or something else i don't know about. I have just discovered the same thing. Usually swollen lymph nodes are a sign that your body is fighting an infection, and from the sounds of it you are stressed out which lowers your immune system.
