What qualifications are needed to become a phlebotomy technician?
enroll and graduate in a certified phlebotomy program from a university, college, or trade school. I would highly recommend the lesser expensive college or univ. They usually run 6-8 weeks for anatomy, medical terminology, and then usually have to have 100 or so actual "needle sticks" in order to be elgible to take the national certification test. See nccanow website for more info.

As a student speech language pathologist clinician what should i put in my therapy box?
I recommend that you always have a deck of cards. Regardless of the age group or level of deficit, there is almost ALWAYS something you can work on with a deck of cards - elicit speech, visual tracking, matching, following verbal directions, social interaction/pragmatics, rule comprehension, recall for sorting or matching...use your imagination. It is small, easy to get, and very replaceable. I recommend that you always have a deck of cards. What type of check up will a doctor do for miscarriage?
Doctors vary as to what checks they do. The checks that they should do are a combination of the following to ensure a wrong diagnosis is not made. Ultrasound can show if a heartbeat and movements are visible after a certain point. It should not be used on its own. Measurements of hCG will show a fall in levels. It does not matter if the levels are low, but they do need to show an increase. They may also do an internal check to see if the cervix is dilated. Listening for a heartbeat with Doppler or an ear trumpet is not reliable as it can be easily missed in the early stages.

You are having left side paralysis after the operation of brain toumer?
That happens. Tell your neurologist. My right side was paralyzed from epilepsy. After a number of doctors could not help me, I went to the Mayo Clinic. The Neurologist there put me on large doses of limictal and topamax. (He started small and increased them gradually.) Now I have regained most of the use of my right side. Sure, those are two totally different problems but both problems affect the brain. There might be a treatment that can help you. I can not help you but perhaps a good doctor can.
