Cairo is located in Egypt. It is in fact the capital of Egypt and it is the largest city in the Middle East and Africa. It is the 16th largest in the world due to it being a metropolitan area.

There were many instruments that the ancient Egyptians used. They were separated in three main groups: string, percussion, and wind. One of the string instruments was called the lute.

It is a string instrument that was widely used by ancient Egyptians. It was used in the Middle Kingdom, and sounds a lot like a banjo. Another string instrument is called a kinnor. The kinnor is the first musical instrument in Egypt. It is like a harp but smaller, so you can hold it with your hand. They also used harps in ancient Egypt. One more ancient string instrument used was called the lyre. Although the lyre make look like a harp, and sound like the harp, it is not exactly played like the harp. It is usually strummed, like a guitar or ukulele, not plucked, like a harp. There were also many percussion instruments such as hand-held drums, rattles, and bells. One percussion instrument was called the sistrum. This insrument was sacred to the goddess Hathor. The sistrum was called shesheset by the ancient Egyptians and was a favored instrument in ancient Egypt. Another percussion instrument was the castanet. Castanets found in ancient Egypt were made from bone or ivory. Some wind instruments were flutes and trumpets. Also, clapping with human hands was done a lot.

The southern part of Egypt is referred to as Upper Egypt. It is located at the shallow end of the Nile River between Aswan and Khartoum.

The Sinai peninsula is generally considered to be part of the Middle East and, thus part of the Asian, rather than African, continent.

River deltas provide refreshment for the land and water. This is important both for man and wildlife. The deposits left in the delta allow more nutrients for the soil and for wildlife to eat.

It has a succulent stem (fleshy)which stores water.It has long deep roots to tap underground water. It has small,waxy and thorny leaves to reduce water loss through transpiration.The waxy coating covers the stomata which releases water in the form of water vapour.

The deserts are the Sahara(west) and the Arabian Desert(east)

There are very few similarities between the governments of Egypt and the United States.

The only real similarities are that both countries have a large bureaucracy and the leader is called the President.

The Libyan desert

Egypt is found at the northeast corner of the continent of AFRICA, but the Suez Canal, which runs north to south inside of Egypt forms the border between Africa and Asia. Therefore, the Sinai Peninsula, which is on the east bank of the Suez Canal is in ASIA, specifically, southwest Asia.

Long story short, mostly in Africa, but a little bit in Asia.
