On the old old Facebook it was possible to use HTML, like this:

The new Facebook doesn't allow this. Probably for security and privacy reasons.

What the new Facebook does that the old one doesn't is "UTF-8". Which means even though you're using English, you can also use foreign letters in an artistic fashion.

Thus these will work perfectly if cut and pasted into FB:

For strike-through, you need to use a specific "combining diacritical mark" called a "combining long stroke overlay". Instead of showing a letter, it goes back to the last letter and does something special to it.

You can dig for this letter in a Character Map program(Windows users will find this in their Start -> Programs -> Accessories [-> System Tools] folder). Depending on your system, they'll be called "modifier" letters, or "combining" letters. Either way, those go right on top, so pick one out and paste it in.

It is really tedious, but it works.

Go onto the home page, and in the top left hand corner, you should see 'edit my profile' then go onto likes an interests, click show all pages, and you can remove pages without having to visit the page itself :) x

The most obvious answer is no...but you know what...there just might be a possibility that they record every single thing you type in and click "post" just like google record everything you have researched from your computer...EVERYTHING you have typed... even if you clear your history... it will still be there... So i think facebook does that as well......

Look in the upper right-hand corner of your facebook page (it doesn't matter what page is up). There is a white box, type in the name and it will show you all of the people with that name who have a page. You can only see the whole profile if they are your friend or if it's public.

If you want to put yourself in a relationship with somebody, go to your profile and select "Edit your Profile" near your profile picture. "Featured People" should be part of the tabs on the left hand side, and you can search for someone's name to be in any kind of relationship Facebook allows when typing it in. When you send it to the person, it will say on your profile "In a relationship". It won't say with who until the person who receives it gets a notification in the same section you get "Pokes" from and it will have a red heart near it saying, Relationship Request: (The person who sent it to the other person) and once they comfirm it. It will be "Facebook Official" and appear as "In a Relationship with (the person)" Hope this helps!

When you disable your facebook account, everything (including pics and friends lists) stays but its just hidden unless/until you decide to re-activate it.

This is what you can do to remove an interest or activity on Facebook. First you go to your profile page, then click on the box in the top right corner that says Edit Profile. Next you click on the box in the left column that say's Activities and interests. Now click on the show other pages link. When you click it it will show all of your interests in a box. Finally you can delete them. You click on the box that says remove page and it will be removed from you page.
