You must take a 4-day state "Designation" program for the Customer Service Representative License (4-40) with the Florida Department of Insurance. Then the state exam is waived. You must hold a 4-40 license for one year before taking a mandatory 40 hour class and a state exam.
A distance learning designation for the Registered Customer Service Representative Designation is available through the University of Central Florida/Florida Insurance University.
