Depends what they are upset about if its boy then dont use the line plenty of fish in the sea. say you are going to meet someone new dont worry you will find someone and they will be better than they were because every time you get a bf \ gf it gets better and you learn more and time heals pain.
If they are upset because of you apologize for what you did and mean it look them in the eye and say it use their name and then do not ever do what you did again unless its for a good cause.
If they have lost someone time heals pain and when they die and goto heaven they will see them again. - dont say that though that may upset them even more but do it at your own risk. some people will take it good and some people wont.
