Where do you go to take your citizenship test in Georgia US?
Please go to http://www.uscitizenship.info for more information about forms. The site doesn't tell you where the testing would be held. Instead please call a toll free number 1-800-870-3676. I got this number from on the representatives of USCIS. It's an automated phone service that you can place orders for forms to fill out. It would take 5 to 10 business days to deliver. Request form N-600 to get a Certificate of Citizenship. Don't bother trying making other phone calls...I tried and it would get you no where. Wait for the form and fill it out...send it off...then be patient. :0)

How many immigrants came to America?
About 25 million
Actually, the above number is incorrect. The number of "immigrants" depends completely on what one means by "immigrants" and the time-frame one looks at.
There are many different categories under the immigration law, most of which do not give the beneficiary any rights to remain in the United States permanently but only some form of temporary residency (e.g. temporary workers, visitors, students, etc.). Likewise, individuals obtaining "citizenship" would also be excluded from this number since an individual must have already immigrated to the United States to qualify for citizenship and, as such, they would not be considered a "new" immigrant.
According to the Department of Homeland Security, the total number of immigrants entering the United States as Legal Permanent Residents since 1820 is precisely 75,356,722
In 2009, only 1,130,818 new immigrants came to the United States.
As of 2009 a total of 12,450,000 Legal Permanent Residents were living in the United States and 743,715 Naturalized to become United States Citizens.

Is it illegal not to report an illegal immigrant?
It is against the law to hide an illegal alien because it is a form of colluding against the state. It helps someone else to break the law. Always let a person look for recognition and acceptance by the state.
What is a Home office reference number?
If you have a Home Office Reference number, you shouldn't have a passport... at least not a British one. You may have a Travel Document... in which case you can find your HO Ref in the observations on page 2. (If you do have a British Passport, your HO Ref is now effectively redundant as you've been made a British Citizen)
It should also be listed on any correspondance you've had from the HO, or your Status letter etc, where it says "Your Ref:"
Failing that, call the Immigration Enquiry Bureau on 0870 606 7766 and ask them :o)
How do you get an immigrant visa for US?
To get Refugee status you must have fled you home in fear of "being persecuted for reasons of race, religion, nationality, membership of a particular social group, or political opinion" In addition you must not be able to return to your home country for the same reason. You then must register with the United Nations High commission on Refugee's. You may be selected for an interview for resettlement in the US if you are part of a population that the UNHCR and the US have decided to resettle or if you have a close relative already in America who has applied for you to come. You must pass several interviews and medical testing. If you do you may be resettled. It is totally up to the US if the take you as refugees do not have right to admittance. There are about 14 million refugees in the world the US has accepted 41,279 of them so far. It is a long shot to say the least. It is easier for people in fear to come to the U.S. on a temporary visa and apply for asylum. To gain asylum people must prove in a court of law that they will be in danger if the return home.
Why shouldn't your tax dollars be used on illegal immigrants?
Tax dollars should not be used for illegal aliens because it is not matter of choice by the electorate. We WANT legal immigrants of good character and wanting to contribute and improve their own situations, but illegals mock the law by their very mode of entry, so why should we expect better from them later.
We want and need immigrants. Most of us are from immigrants . But laws MUST be obeyed. My Grandfather waited patiently 11 years to immigrate legally from Germany between the world wars. And expected nothing but an opportunity to work when he got here, not a plateful of unearned government benefits.

You can file the application, and it may or may not be granted based on the circumstances. BUT, be truthful - because if citizenship were to be granted and the felony conviction was found later, your US citizenship could be revoked.
How do you write a support letter to immigration for my partner?
You have to file Joint. She can apply for a ITIN, which is a number for people without SSN. All she needs is a birth certificate and 1 ID. This can be from her country but it cannot be expired.
How do you report an illegal alien who you has married someone only to try to obtain citizenship?
WOW. That's pretty cruel. Its kind of sad that Americans don't know too much about how trully painful and life changing deporting some1 is. No matter how bad the person is or was to you in your own opinion, believe me, it will come back to 3 times as hard in a different form that u wouldn't even be able to tell that u'r suffering becuz of what u did. It is not easy. simply get a divorce it is her loss if anything but no need to deport. i would never advise that no matter what, unless she murdered some1. Have a heart my dear. U don't know what deportation really is. Its kind of like being imprisoned for life for a crime that u never committed. eitherways.. have a good day and best of luck.
There are not different time limits established for legal immigrants from different countries, the procedures are the same for each person, with the exception of a foreign national who qualifies as an asylee or refugee. What rights duties and obligations are included with US citizenship?
Duties as a US citizen includes:
Rights as a US citizen are listed below:
What is the responsibilityies of a good citizen?
The role of good citizen is to contribute to the siciety. Good citizens vote to make themself productive, pay taxesand educate them
Vote in elections, obey the laws, and respect the privacy and rights of your neighbors.
If you have the time or inclination to volunteer for community projects, that is a definite positive, but hardly required.
Is up and running not being so old and grouchy and not hating the hold world
In the constitution, there is sometimes an implied duty to act. A good citizen would recognize that duty and act accordingly.
1. Respect another persons natural rights. 2. Follow the laws set by your state and national governments.3. To vote
[It needed 60 senatorial votes to pass it but it was short by 5 votes. The republicans decided to vote on party lines. They thought that this legislation will just encourage illegal immigration the more. So it did not pass, unfortunately.]
Whoever wrote the above needs help. The Dream Act is an open invitation to violate American law and it's sovereignty. The FIRST step is to gain control of the border to stop the invaders. Repeal of the law that says an illegal can birth their baby in the US and they attain automatic citizenship is a good second step. Third is a case by case exportation of criminals from other countries in our prisons ( payed for by US citizens).
Fourth is examination of those here now and inviting the pro USA immigrants to stay. This includes culling the herd of the undesirables (thieves, druggies, etc) that have no regard for our laws. There are multiple cases of illegals killing US citizens, DUI, felonies that cannot be be tried simply because they are not US citizens.
My grandparents emigrated to America in the 19 teens. They obeyed the law and followed the process until they became citizens. By the way 3 of the 4 spoke no English when they arrived but they learned. Unlike the Latin America and South Americans invading our country and demanding America learn Spanish.
--This goes for the second person who commented on this page.
There is no need to offend the person who wrote the first response. I agree that immigrants might make you feel uncomfortable but you have no freaken right to get all offensive with them. The last thing they need is ppl like you. I understand that your grandparents obeyed the law and followed the process until they became citizens but so do many other ppl. Your grandparents weren't the only ones going threw the process. There are many other ppl who have been obeying the law and have been waiting for more than 10 years to become citizens but things are getting tough now-a-days. So dont come over getting all ugly about immigrants! You have to learn to respect others smartass!!
Why were some U.S.-born citizens prejudiced against immigrants?
They may have been infested with terrible/unkown diseases.
Can illegal immigrants get welfare payments in Texas?
By Law, an illegal and even a legal resident (to a certain degree) cannot receive any welfare benefits. However, some illegal immigrants can get benefits by acquiring illegal social security cards (fake numbers) or from stolen social security cards (stolen identity).
On a side note, children of illegal immigrants that are born into this country are considered legal American citizens because of "Jus Soli" which means "right of the soil" (birthright) by the 14th amendment. They can receive welfare benefits and any of the privelages and rights of any American Citizen.
The way you can get deported if the ICE through the police or some other entity notifies them that a person is an illegal immigrant.
If an illegal alien has a baby with a us citizen can he be on the birth certificate?
Marrying a U.S. citizen and having children resulting from the marriage DOES NOT automatically award citizenship or permanent resident status to an alien, especially one who is deemed to be in the U.S. illegally. The non-citizen must follow the prescribed procedures as required by federal law through USCIS. The children ARE citizens if they were born in the United States OR if one of the parent is a U.S. citizen (not just a Resident, but a Citizen).
Once a citizen child reaches 21, they can then act as a sponsor for their parent to obtain Legal Residency. However, note that it is not possible to have an illegal alien obtain legal residency unless they leave the country first - that is, you can't come to the U.S. illegally, then have someone sponsor you to stay. You must leave the country, have someone sponsor you, then re-enter on a valid visa.]
Personal Experience My husband and I have been married for six years and we have two kids, the oldest is five, and my husband is still not legal. I've told immigration just how important it is that he get his papers because of this and they said it doesn't matter how many kids he has, yada yada. They are culeros.
If the guy only has children that are US citizens, and no one else, he probably will have to wait for them to grow up and petition for him.
