The colors red and white are inspired by the banner of the Majapahit Empire which once ruled Indonesian (also Singaporean and Malaysian) territory. There are two versions of the banner. The first one looks like Indonesian flag (red over white) and the second one looks like the red and white stripes in American flag (this version is currently being the naval ensign of Indonesia). The banner of Majapahit also inspired the flag of Malacca (and later on also Malaysia) and the flag of Singapore.

The significance of the colors:

- Red is a symbol of bravery, courage (to fight colonialism, esp. in the independence war)

- White is a symbol of purity and sacred soul

The colors of the flag are sometimes also interpreted as:

- Red symbolizes the blood shed by Indonesians

- White symbolizes the bones of Indonesians

So, the flag of Indonesia is actually not that simple. It is a hope and a commemoration of old glory, a sacred symbol of bravery and purity, and a patron of the great nation of Indonesia.

Well, Filipinos do have a lot of Indonesian-Malay influence. Philippines and Indonesia were once Hindu empires. Philippine and Indonesian cuisine, also bear a lot of relation in terms of the ingredients. Such as lumpiang shangai, also popular in Indonesia as it is in the Philippines, though Indonesians don't use pork since Indonesian people are Muslim.

Other than that, there's really not other much other than the fact that many Indonesians are descended from Filipinos, which is why we look a like. But Filipinos are barely aware of their southern neighbors. Philippines and Indonesia, don't even really hava foreign relation either, not as much as the Philippine relation with Malaysia.

Berg suit is not a phantom suit is is not only on the Federal Court docket it is also on the SCOTUS docket and demand for an answer on Dec. 1 to writ of certiorari.

Senator Obama provides evidence of natural birth and provides evidence of citizenship as it is very apparent he and admittedly traveled via Indonesian passport to India and Pakistan when no US citizens where permitted.
