Fear of getting fired, upsetting others, about being judged, not being accepted, just living. People do not realize it is fear that gives rise to the likes of Hitler or even W Bush. It was lies that made their people fear. Everyone lies including me, very very rarely. I try my best not to lie. I am brutally honest, but not brutal. I have no shame in telling the truth. It comes to being well cultured by my father, it comes from being fearless. What makes me this way is hard to explain but it hurts my soul to lie. I love people who are the same, no lying in them. People who think this way understand unconditional love, unconditional friendships, unconditional sharing, giving, helping, and just telling the truth. Many times my being, my honesty scares people or they presume I am a liar, too good to be true, or I am from another planet. Do not get me wrong, I am well liked by most, respected by all, appreciated by many. I have a very active social life and loads of friendships, many spanning decades. We must be more open with one another, more honest, and stop the culture of fear that perpetuates the culture of lies. A lie is the devil's favorite sin. It was the first sin in the bible. Fear is also the devil's tool. If you fear you do not have God in your heart. I saw both my dad and my brother die when it was their time. They taught me how to die, and that is just how they lived. They were fearless and a great example to me.

you make it sound like your husband is being lazy but if he's out of work and depressed it may be more than that. Has he thought about getting councilling or medication for his depression? Very often, doing something will help to take his mind off things and ease the depression. He could do some voluntary work for charity or join a club or organisation which appeals to his interests. If you want him to help around the house you might have to drop some hints and make him a list.....men don't always notice the same stuff needs doing as women do!!
