Handler's Classificstion:

This classification was done by Wolfgang Handler. This classification mainly identifies the parallelism degree and pipelining degree built inside the hardware structure of the computer. Wolfgang Handler considers parallel - pipeline processing t sub system levels:

1. Process Control Unit(PCU)

2. Arithematic Logic Unit(ALU)

3. Bit - Level Circuit(BLU)

Each PCU Corresponds to one CPU. The ALU is considered as an element much smaller than a central processor and mucher lower features than a processor, working under the control of the processor. ALU is generally used to do arithematic and logical caliculations. In general there are many ALUs in a system, working parallely to increase the speed of the system. The BLC corresponds to the combinational logic circuitry needed to perform the bit operations on the ALU.

The computer system can be characterized by a triple containing six independent entities given below:

T(C) = <K * K', D * D', W * W'>

Where

K = Number of processors within the computer.

K'= Number of PCUs that can be pipelined.

D = Number of ALUs under the control of one PCU.

D'= Number of ALUs that can be pipelined.

W = Word length of ALU.

W'= Number of pipelined stages in all ALUs.

Another option would be to drill the hard drive. The hard drive will be unusable but in theory a person could still take the hard drive platters and get some information off of it. This would be a lot of work, but possible. The most sure way would be completely destroying the hard drive making the platters completely mangled and unusable and disposing of the platters in separate locations.

Yes it matters. if you want to use a computer for graphics then you need a fairly large processor. if you want to do games you need a big processor. if you want to upgrade your OS someday then you need to have a good processor. Also, the size of your processor effects your speed.

Umm I'm learning stuff like this also. I'm not that good at explaining but ill try.

I may be wrong but from what I've researched it somehow takes in a clocksignal and multiplies it inside the central processor unit which then lets the internal circuitry stuff in the CPU work faster and i think it can do this by caching.

In comptia A+ book im going through it says "CPU's with caches spend the majority of their clock cycles performing calaculations and moving data back and forth with in the caches, not sending any data on the external bus.

Not quite sure if that bit was relevent but i gave it a go o.O

For games, applications, ect, if the program can be multithreaded, then you will see a huge increase in computing speeds for the program.

As for games, anything more then 2.6 Ghz is not needed. The extra money needed to bump up from a 1.8 Ghz processor to, say, a 2.8 Ghz, would be more then enough money to buy you a much better processor.

I would try changing the video card. This would have been the next logical step after changing the monitor. Unless it is possible to change the cable between the monitor and video card in which case the next step would have been to change the cable.
