How do you make a firework snake?

There are many firework snake recipes online, but the most common one is the one below:

First you need to attain 4 parts baking soda and 1 part sugar. Then when you mix the ingredients finely in a mortar and pestle, or just by hand, go outside for further testing. Once your outside, find somewhere safe and pour a small amount of sand to help contain the reaction. Then use either ethanol or alcohol to pour slightly over the mixture. You don't need a lot, but just enough to heat up the mixture. Once this is done, stand back and have fun.

Now what happens is as you heat up the mixture, the carbon atoms from the sugar "escape" and come out in a crude mound of ash. This may not be as good as the commercial firework snakes, so you may need to experiment the proper ratios and amounts. (WARNING...When you light the ethanol/alcohol, be very careful as these two chemicals are highly flammable. I would recommend adult supervision.)

I was told the most poisonous snake in the world is a very small snake in India but websites name black mamba so what's correct?

The third most deadly snake in the world, from India, is the Russell's Viper. Death from a Russell's Viper happens in 1 to 14 days.

A Black Mamba delivers 25 times the poison needed to kill a full grown adult; statistics show that death is almost 100% (the highest of any snake) and death occurs between 15 minutes and 3 hours.

Statistics are simple on this one, the Black Mamba wins the worlds deadliest snake title.

NOTE: This is not intended to diminish the danger of any snake, all snakes are dangerous and should be respected as such.

A:

The most venomous snake on earth is the Belcher's Sea Snake (Hydrophis Belcheri) or the Faint Banded Sea Snake, some consider the Inland Taipan (Oxyuranus microlepidotus) an/or the Beaked Sea Snake (Enhydrina schistosa) to be the most toxic, however, with recent and more accurate studies prove the Belcheri has a 100 times more toxic venom then the two above or any other snake on earth.

It has a paddle-like tail, breathes air and can hold it's breath up to 8 hours, a few milligrams of venom can kill over a thousand people.

It's habitat is a wide range in the South Pacific.

Excluding the Belcher's Sea Snake the next most venomous snakes on earth according to their venom rating are: (From most to least)

2- Inland Tiapan (Oxyuranus Microlepidotus).

3- Common Indian Krait (Bungarus Caeruleus), Habitat: India, Sri Lanka and Pakistan.

4- Philippine Cobra (Naja Philippinensis).

5- King Cobra (Ophiophagus Hanna).

6- Russell's Viper (Vipera Russellii).

7- Black Mamba (Dendroaspis Polylepis).

8- Yellow Jawed Tommygoff (Bothrops Asper).

9- Multibanded krait (Bungarus Multicinctus).

10- Tigar Snake (Notechis Scutatus).

11- Jararacussu (Bothrops Jararacussu).

What does a snake smbolize?

In most cases, it symbolizes evil.

However, in some cultures it symbolizes fertility.

In others it is connected with the story of Creation, and some of the stories can be very different indeed.

In ancient Israel, a brazen snake was mounted to a pole and the Israelites were told to look upon the raised inanimate snake as Moses held it aloft to save their lives.

In many Biblically-based religions, according to Biblical record, snakes became snakes when the 'serpent' 'successfully' tempted Adam and Eve to disobey God, after their perfect Creation in the Garden of Eden, and to partake of the forbidden 'tree of the knowledge of good and evil'.

According to the record in Genesis and the book of Moses, God then cursed the serpent such that certain changes occurred within its body such that it became quite some different "beast".

It is often considered that the changes made resulted in a snake that typically seems to be the complete antithesis of 'Man' - both behaviourally and anatomically.

It would seem that if this is the case, God used the snake to symbolize the opposition that it brought into the world - which did not exist before the knowledge of good and evil wrought by partaking of the 'forbidden fruit'.

Do corn snakes curl up into a ball when they are going to die?

Our little Dekay's snake curled up and died today. Very sad. He was the easiest, most wonderful little guy and we'll miss him terribly. I just came looking for answers to see if snakes curl up when they die too and I found your question. It was really, really hot today (about 98 degree heat wave) and he normally stretches out long to stay cool. So it was interesting that he was all curled up beside his dish of water. I think he knew he was going into a sound sleep and was going to pass on - because he usually goes into hiding when he curls up to sleep. But today, he was right out in the open.

Who were the Copperhead?

•The "Copperheads" were Northern Democrats who opposed the war and called for reuniting the states through negotiation rather than force. They were called "Copperheads", after the poisonous snake, by the Republican opponents who favored war.

This answer is completely incorrect. The Copperheads were northern Democrats alright, but they demanded peace at any cost, promoted and resisted the draft, encouraged the Union soldiers to desert, met with and accepted money from confederate agents, tried to assist confederate soldiers in taking over their prisons and escaping. The republicans did not favor war as the previous writer states, they favored keeping the union in one piece and that would entail war - big difference. No one favors war, it is just that some choose to run away from it, and others choose to defend what is right.

Where do death adder snakes live?

The common death adder occurs over much of eastern and coastal southern Australia - Queensland, New South Wales, Victoria and South Australia. It may also be found more scarce in the Northern Territory, Western Australia and the west parts of South Australia, due to its sister species of death adders (e.g. desert adder).
