The process by which an economy is transformed from primarily agricultural to one based on the manufacturing of goods. Individual manual labor is often replaced by mechanized mass production, and craftsmen are replaced by assembly lines.
When was the first graphical touchscreen point of sale invented?
In 1986 Gene Mosher assembled the Atari ST520 with a 12" color display, a MicroTouch capacitive touchscreen and a Star Micronics DP8340 printer to create the first graphical touchscreen point of sale software and computer system. He named it 'ViewTouch' and first installed the POS system in The Mill Camp Restaurant on Q Street in Springfield, Oregon in July, 1986. ViewTouch POS was first demonstrated publicly at the ComDex (Computer Dealer Exposition) in Las Vegas in November, 1986, and in March, 1987 at the Canadian National Restaurant Exposition in Toronto.
The POS system's graphical interface was created by a comprehensive collection of 'buttons' or widgets which were designed to mimic all of the keys which could be found on an electronic cash register as well as drive the interface to all of the various management functions built into the software, many of which Mosher had created as far back as 1977 when writing POS software on his Apple II computer for the restaurants he operated in Norfolk, Virginia and in Syracuse, New York. These were carried forward into the graphical touchscreen POS software introduced in 1986 and included sales history, time clock, expense management, labor cost accounting and remote printing to the food preparation area of his restaurants.
The ViewTouch POS system was the first documented computer system to make use of a system of colorgraphic touchscreen widgets which could be directly manipulated by end users and which comprised a complete solution package for the hospitality vertical market.
Do you thinl the trade between countries today still leads to the exchange of technology and ideas?

Where in North America is area code 807?
The Dominican Republic uses North American area codes 809, 829, and 849.
Originally, area code 809 served many different Caribbean and nearby islands, including Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Jamaica, Bahamas, Bermuda, Barbados, Grenada, and Trinidad and Tobago. In the mid-1990's, each of the island nations or territories received its own separate area code, leaving only the Dominican Republic in 809. Area codes 829 and 849 were added as overlay codes for 809, each serving the entire Dominican Republic.
The country code for the Dominican Republic, and the other islands mentioned above, along with the USA and Canada, is +1. From other parts of country code +1, calls to the Dominican Republic are dialed the same way as domestic calls (for example, 1-809-000-0000), although international call charges will apply.

You can use the FireWire port for high-speed multimedia devices.
How will the armature current and the output power of a dc shunt motors change with increasing load?
With increasing torque load the armature tends to slow down; the motor draws more current to compensate, and if there is armature resistance the back emf generated by the armature falls to allow the increased current to flow, which causes the motor to settle at a lower speed.
The mechanical output power is the speed times the torque, and increasing the torque increases the power output provided the speed does not drop much.
Is stored mobile phone numbers on sim is better than on mobile phone?

What are the 2 benefits of Packet-switching?
The Purpose of the IP Network Layer (3) of the OSI Model is to perform packet switching from one network to another. Packet Switching is a process of receiving a packet via a routed protocol on a single network and switching to another in such a way that a route to a destination can be reliably achieved (routing) via a routing protocol. Routing is processes of taking multiple network paths and by using an algorithm decide a metric which will determine the most reliable path a packet may take and store it in a table for future reference (routing table). Routing protocols like RIP use algorithms to generate and decipher a list of paths to any particular routed network. Information that is used in this determination includes hop count, reliability and link speed. Today it is widely understood that packet switched networks are superior to circuit switching. IP Multiplexing is more simplified than circuit switching and combines ability to route packets around failures which are measured and predetermined by routing protocols 24/7 365 days a year. One must however come to understand the inherent differences between routed protocols like IP and routing protocols like RIP to begin to develop a clear understanding of switched networks.

The architecture of a database is the physical design of the datbase, its tables, and associated objects such as Stored Procedures, Triggers, Functions, and routines.
When do you need to connect the generator in parallel?
When you wish to bring a second generator on-line in order to do maintenance on the first one. They would be connected in parallel, but not yet switched on together, until you are sure they are both in phase.
This is simply accomplished by connecting a light bulb between the Phase of one to the Neutral of the other. The bulb will wax and wane as the generators come in and out of phase. When the bulb is brightest, switch them together.
