03 CL headlights

I had to pull off the front bumper to replace the ballast and high and low beam bulbs. that's the only way that I know. I had to do this 2 times when the other bulb went out.If the bulb you replace does not work then it might be the ballast.

Blown fuse? Freon leak? Suggest you take it and have it checked to be sure.

The fuel filter on a Acura Cl is located in the engine bay. The part itself is bolted onto the firewall towards the rear of the engine.

i just made mine go off by taken off the pos battery cable for 15 min but you better know the code for the radio if you do that,my code was on the side of the glove box.

Probably either the battery, alternator, or related wiring is at fault. Have the electrical charging system checked. Many mechanical shops and some auto parts stores will perform this test for free, especially if they think your likely to purchase parts or repairs from them. Don't be afraid to get a second opinion from another source, however, especially if you're told it's going to be an expensive fix.

Probably needs pressure switches, or needs to have the solenoid screens cleaned out. Use and OBD reader to see what transmission codes are in the computer to determine which switches/solenoids need attention. Don't let this go too long or then you'll burn out the clutch packs and have much more expenseive repairs.

I'm pretty sure it has a timing chain, like the rsx typeS. Could be wrong, but I think I'm more right then wrong.

You first need to remove the black plastic covering by unscrewing the big plastic bolts. They just unscrew so don't try to remove. Look down where your headlights are and there should be plastic clips (mine are blue and white) you need to push on the lever on the bottom of the plastic clip at the same time as you are pushing down. ( I cheat and use tools for additional muscles, a flat screwdriver works best) It should come off disconnecting the power from your headlights. There should be 3 spots where lights can go, hi-beams, headlights, and turn signals....determine which one needs replacing. Turn the back of the light clockways and it should pop out carefully. Replace and turn counterclock ways until light is locked back into place. Replace clips and black plastic cover.

Find the tensioner pulley. Use a straight wrench (I believe a 14mm) and turn the tensioner pulley bolt (the one in the middle of the pulley) counter clockwise (you may need an extension Pipe). This will release tension on the belt then slide the belt off. The tensioner pulley bolt is a reverse thread so it will not come loose when attempting to turn it counter clockwise. Slide the new belt on from the bottom up then turn the tensioner pulley counter clockwise (releasing tension) with one hand while sliding the belt over the alternator pulley (a long screwdriver wedged against the side wall can help get the belt onto the pulley) then allow the tensioner pulley to return to its normal position.

The HVAC blower motor for a 2003 Acura 3.2 CL Type S can be found under the right side of the dash board. It is directly to the left of the passenger side kick panel.

First, disconnect the battery as a safety precaution. One of these HID ballasts can cause electric shock or electrocution. Second, remove the front bumper cover. Then remove the headlight assembly for the ballast which needs replacement. The ballast can be found on the bottom of the headlight assembly. Replace the ballast and reinstall all removed parts. Reconnect the battery and confirm the repair.

You can disconnect the battery. Then connect it back, use your secret code and it should work again.

The CL requires 6 spark plugs...I used the platinum bosch plugs which do not require to be gapped. The front three are pretty easy. The back three require you to use different lengh extensions for your socket wrench. Basically the process is the same, loosen the bolt which holds the plug cable, insert the spark plug socket and remove and replace one after another versus undoing everything at once. I think it took about 45 minutes from start to finish.

You can do it in two ways. Most auto parts stores will read and clear the code for you. The other one is, if you have your radio code handy, you can just disconnect the battery for a minute or so and reconnect. Then, the light will be reset.
