Can you get married at the age of 16?
Please think a little more clearly about getting married at such a young age. I am not saying you aren't mature at all, because the young can often be more mature then full grown adults. What I am saying is that 16 is too young for marriage when there is a whole world of wonderful things out there. You could go to business school, college, be who you want to be if you want it bad enough. You could travel, meet new people and have adventure and fun. If you get married these opportunities usually aren't available to you because it takes money to pay rent, etc., and eventually buy a home and then have children. Don't cheat yourself out of the best years of your life.
If you feel you are truly in love, then don't get married, but perhaps travel together, get to see the world, find out who you really are inside, and what you want out of life and strive for it. You are so very lucky you are so young and the choice is up to you.
Good luck Marcy

How were slaves treated in the ancient world?
While the practice of slavery was common throughout the ancient world, its character varied tremendously from society to society, even within the same society. Slaves could be treated very poorly, as though they were disposable or mere property; slaves might also be valued and treated as trusted members of the family. Some slaves could earn their freedom, while others could not. Some slaves were forced to perform menial labor (such as in mines or aboard galley-vessels), other slaves worked as public servants and even in the armies of their masters, and yet others served as respected teachers or physicians.
Post-and-lintel construction is a characteristic of what Kingdom of the Egyptian civilization?
The New Kingdom.
Never.
To expound on the above answer of "never" (although it is basically correct). The pyramid was first broken into around 820 - 850AD by government workers hired by the Caliph of the area. Inside, they found no signs of any bodies or things typically placed with an Egyptian body. Also, 3 blocking stones and the sarcophagus lid were not in there, but it is impossible for anyone to have removed them. It is a real mystery what happened.
My own theory is that the pharaoh died during the construction of the pyramid and the pyramid was built around his burial chamber but they went ahead with the original plan but didn't use it. I think somewhere inside the pyramid the body is still resting there, undiscovered.
