Can the nextbook premium tablet record videos?
Nextbook provided me with the Premium 8SE model for review. Having recently reviewed and fallen in love with an Apple iPad 2, I wasn't sure if the new Nextbook tablet could win me back to the more affordable end of the tablet retail market. The biggest difference between the 2 tablets is a whopper. The iPad 2 retails for around $400 compared to the Nextbook Premium 8SE price of only $169.99 at Kmart. Do not confuse that lower price to mean cheap. Having reviewed other tablets from Nextbook from the Next3 to the Premium7, I knew that the Premium 8SE would be a well-built, high quality product with user friendly features. I was definitely not disappointed.

Can a 6.35 mm mic work on a computer with just the adapter 6.35 to 3.5?
Yes, you can use a microphone which has a 1/4" (6.35 mm) plug in a computer with an 1/8" socket. You would just need to use an adapter.
Now, both the plug and the socket will need to have the same number of conductors. While it might be usable to plug a standard phone plug (2 wires) into a TRS socket ("tip, ring, sleeve" -- 3 wires) or vice-versa, you likely will be missing sound from one side. In that case, there are additional adapters to convert between those types of plugs and sockets.
