I have a 2001 325Ci coupe, 5 speed manaul, and i know how to drive it!!....The motor in my car as well as the 2000 323i is the M54 engine (M56 engine if you have a California car, emission reasons), 184hp and around 175 foot pounds of torque they have a 2.5 liter inline 6. good motors but not very powerful.

Standing at the front of the car, the black square oil filler cap is located on the top side of the engine, at the lower left corner of the engine cover.

The specs on NGK brand spark plugs for 1985-1993 BMW 535i lists the gap at 0.028. Hope that helps.

BMW won't stop making BMW M3's. It is because BMW just intoduced th sedan (four door)

Do this at your own risk. Toward the front of the motor on the drivers side is a large black diagnostic plug with a cap on it. Undo the cap and pull it off. In the center is a hole shaped like pacman. The lid has a piece that sticks down into the pacman hole. If you don't see pacman you have the wrong plug. Surrounding pacman is two rings of holes, some with connectors in them and some without. Using a fused jumper connect the hole two spaces away (outer ring) and directly in front pacman's mouth with the hole closest to (inner ring) and directly below pacman viewing pacman's mouth to your right. Turn the key to the on position, in about 5 seconds the oil service lights should go out. Immediately turn the key to the off position and remove the jumper. Then test it by starting the motor, if the light is still on repeat the above steps.

Open the hood of the car and up near the windshield on the right side, looking from the front to the back, is a black fuse box that clips shut on the front. Lift up the cover to the box and attached to the inside of the cover is the fuse diagram.

To open the locked bonnet, or hood on a 1999 BMW 525 TDS, pull on the release handle inside the vehicle on the driver's side. The hood might be indicated as open if the cable is broken or stretched.

If this is happening while you are parked or still... Its because its cooling the engine to keep a lower temp. Your sensor could be messing up possibly but my 2004 it would turn on all the time, and again and stay on.

Well the Infinti FX is your best bet if you need an SUV but want something that drives like a car. However, the Infinti has almost no ability off-road and the ride is on the sporty side. The Volvo is a great choice, as long as you get the T6 or V8. The base engine is just too slow. It rides nice and you can get a third row. Plus you know that a Volvo is gunna be super-safe. I have a T6 and I like it a lot. The lease is almost up and I have no idea what to replace it with. The BMW is most expensive, however, it is the nicest I think. I am very partial to BMWs and the X5 is the perfect blend of a car and a SUV. Also, the X5 (and all BMWs) have free scheduled maintenance. 4 years/ 50,000 miles. Everything is free, including oil changes, wiperblades, brakes. All you pay for is gas and the tires. Plus BMW is changing the X5 for the 06' model year and will be offering great deals on 05' models. If I HAD to pick, I would go for the X5. All of them are great cars though, you can't go wrong with any of the three.

jack up the car by the driver side front and secure with a jack stand. on the left frame rail by the sway bar there will be a junction block for the battery from the t runk to the starter , it will be covered by plastic cover remove it and attach your positive jumper cable there and the negative to any bround and you should get power to be able to open the door and trunk

Somewhere you have a short. Follow the smaller of the two positive leads from the battery toward the place where they go out of the trunk. There is a 50 amp fusible link in the line that could be your problem.

your brake pads are worn or there is trouble with the sensor for them.

Yes absolutely. You will have to change some running gear, engine, engine mounts, gearbox, engine management. It is quite a process, and much modification is required, you are basically putting all the electronics from the e36 into e30.
