According to Car and Driver, it takes 4.9 sec.
Also, Automobile magazine says 5.1 sec.

It depends on the conditions like the tires of the car, the mileage on the engine, and the road conditions.

The overall suspension setup is very similar, however you will find that if you wish to interchange parts, the rear may fit but the front is completely different

The tire light can come on for a number of reasons. Low tire pressure, a flat tire, or in my case a couple days ago, I got the tires rotated.

Confirm the tire pressure on each tire, which is usually a sticker on the driver inside door frame (my car is 29#'s on the front and 36#'s on the rear tires).

You can reset the warning light after confirming there is no obvious problem with the tire condition and pressure. Your owners manual will have the information for your model and year on how to reset certain error codes or call BMW service for some help.

I have a 330i and all you do is push the (2) on the short column (by the blinker), then keep pressing the number (1) button until the tire symbol appears, then push and hold the number (2) button for 5 seconds until a little check mark appears, then drive away.

remove the alternator, remove mounting bolts for steering pump and position aside, remove upper engine mount bolt/nut, support engine with sling, remove the upper engine mount bracket, then finally accessory bracket. whole job with proper tools and equipment takes approx. 5 hours to do. I would not attempt to do this as a driveway repair.

the oil capacity on the 740li is 4.0. BMW badge codes have the series number followed by the oil capacity. ie. a 325i is a 3 series with a 2.5l capacity and so on.

Yellow triangle is the traction control light, It comes on( flashes) if you get wheelspin,like on an M# in the rain;). It will stay on if you turn DSC off, or if you have a wheel speed sensor problem(asb light would also be on)

In-between the window and lock switch in the toggle panel there will be a toggle switch that says ASC just hold it down for a second and the light on the speedometer should stay on. that means asc is off.

could be bad cells in the battery, but my bmw ended up having a seized motor, starter was engaging and clicking because it couldnt turn the engine. try putting a socket on the engine crank pulley to see if engine will rotate

The coil you need and the difficulty of installation depends on the year of your BMW. Also, before you replace the coil you should be completely certain that it is the culprit of your problem. Have you tested the resistance of the coil to be sure that it has failed?

If the car is cold, run the engine to normal operating temperature and then let it rest for 20-30 minutes. This heats the oil and agitates any settled debris back into the oil, to maximize your oil change.

Remove the oil fill cap on the engine first.

The oil filter is changed from top side. Open the hood and the filter housing is located on your right (car's left/driver's side), lower right side of the engine compartment in front of the power steering fluid canister. You will need a 36mm oil cap socket wrench to open the lid of the oil filter housing. Caution: be careful not to damage the oil filter mount--use slow and steady pressure on the wrench until it loosens. Screw off the lid. Lift and remove the old filter.

Under the car: open and remove the plastic cover that covers the oil pan. The cover is in the middle rear of the the engine splash shield, and is held by a dowel pin screw. The oil pan cover can be opened without removing the entire splash shield. The 17mm drain plug is located on the oil pan. Place a tray to catch the used oil under the drain plug and loosen and remove the plug. Caution: the oil will be warm to hot, be sure to wear protective gloves! Let the car drain for 45 minutes or so until the oil stops dripping or dripping a drop every few seconds.

Replace the filter and the o-ring on the lid, coating it with some used or new oil. The o-ring should be included with the new filter. Put the lid back on and tighten to torque specs (25nm). As with all things plastic, use caution.

Once oil is fully drained, install the new drain plug (recommended) and new copper crush washer (should be included with the new oil filter packaging). Torque to spec (25nm).

Fill with new BMW-approved full synthetic oil only. BMW 740i/iL requires 7.9 quarts. Fill with 7 quarts first. You may not have drained every bit of oil in the engine, so your refill may vary from the maximum capacity. Wait a few minutes and check level with the dipstick. Add remaining oil to correct level. NEVER add more than 7.9 quarts of new oil under any circumstances to prevent overfilling!

Close the oil fill cap. Make sure the dipstick is tightly re-inserted. Start the car and check for leaks under the car and around the filter housing once oil pressure rises. Check for any oil warning lights on the dash. Do not drive off until everything checks out OK!

The air conditioner blower motor is located on the firewall in the engine compartment in 2000 BMW 528i.

You have to go to the dealer and ask them to turn them off, otherwise they leave them on as running headlights. They will do this for free.

Loosen the tensioner pulley. The power steering belt will come loose. Remove the power steering belt. Reverse the process to install the new power steering belt.
