What does it mean if the very corner right side of a dog's nose is chapped and cracked but the rest of the nose is damp and normal?

It's wise to see your vet. Your dog could have something blocked in his nose, to allergies. Dogs can also get Rhinitis. Don't second-guess this and see that vet. Spam wrote:This sounds to me like a possible burn. I would consult with a holistic vet or naturopath. If it's determined that it's just a bit of dry skin (possibly due to whether, or even plastic bowls - it's best to use stainless steel) a good natural moisturizing wax can be used. I use a product called "Dog-ma's Own" - and yeah... you guessed it. It's part of the product line I make and sell. Feel free to drop by my website (noselicks.com) and email me if that's what your vet thinks the problem is.

Can you eat mayonnaise after getting tongue piercing?

With any oral piercing oral hygiene is very important, so rinse after anything other than water for the first two weeks after getting the piercing done. Common sense should indicate that you are not going to sit down and eat a jar of mayonnaise, however should that be your life's desire, fill your boots. Just make sure you rinse your mouth out with a good oral rinse after eating. The concern is the residue that is left on the tongue after eating, this can foster a growth of bacteria if left unchecked leading to swelling and distension. So rinse after eating and all should be fine.

So get the piercing-shop to do it!

How long till you can use chewing tobacco after getting a tongue piercing?

It doesn't matter honestly I ate solid food the day I got mine pierced so it just depends on the person their self

Answer:

You need to listen to what your body is telling you, if your tongue is sore staying on easy going foods like soup and sandwiches may be in your best interest. The swelling will go down each and every day, but jumping into a steak dinner may not be quite the best plan if your tongue is sore. Generally by about day 4~5 you should start to get back into normal foods, but go easy. Stay on top of your oral hygiene and the cold stuff and you will find the swelling will drop quickly. From there you need to use your own judgement.
