That's a tough one, because every guy's reaction is going to be dependent on several things: the nature and amount of pain, their mental state, their personality and how they were raised. But probably the most common reaction is to act tough -- shrugging it off in a manly sense, hiding their tears and generally acting like they're above getting their feelings hurt. Some guys, however, don't have any problems showing their emotions and will let their pain show.

Give him time to cool off, in a few days if you haven't 'pestered' him. He is more likely to want to see you. Be cool, be patient and if he's worth having he'll come to you. If he doesn't you have to move on with your life. It's not good to be with someone if you fight a lot. Yes, if you push him you are going to scare him away so you two can never talk. Also ask yourself why you two always fight, what starts it? Use this time to think about where the relationship went wrong.

I don't mean to sound harsh here, but why don't you just ASK them?

That depends on how you both feel, if your both single, if you both realize you may have both changed and can leave the past in the past.

NO! are you kidding? ... don't make it about either of you. You can't specifically say to your child that you're not happy with his or her father anymore ... maybe try 'we'll be happier apart'... make your child see it's something you both want, otherwise they may blame one of the parents or see that love can fade way too early on.

You know why ... you didn't handle things very diplomatically and most men don't like to see their girlfriends beat up other women. First off just because another woman put her arm around your boyfriend doesn't mean anything and if she should be flirting with him then it is up to him to control the situation and not you! You acted worse than an alley cat and didn't act like the young lady you should have been. Quiet words to the girl carries more weight than a fist in the face! I hope he keeps going! If any guy breaks up with you over a fight than he has another thing coming. I would like to add from my first post that her boyfriend has every right to breakup with her. Who wants to go out with a girl that fights like a guy just because some young woman happens to put an arm around him. People drink at parties and sometimes the gesture is innocent and not meant to be anything else but an arm around a person. This girl needs to grow up and take Anger Management Classes and have more confidence in herself.

it depends upon your status with the guy.. there's no problem with texting him if your doing this thing usually. weigh the situation if you think this would make you relationship"better" then do it. if it will make it worse then don't. You know what you really feel towards the guy. You should know by now why that happened ))

Although literally the human heart can never be broken, as only solid objects can break. The human heart is rather different. The "Break" you are talking about is pain, which although unfortunate could possibly be never ending. However as you learn to move on, it repairs itself. Damaged as it may be, the next person who comes along could be well worth the trouble. You might be scared, hurt, worried, anxious, exc. The only way to fix a broken heart, is to take it back from the person who broke it, give it time, and hope someone else comes along to fix it.
