How could you forget someone who gives so much to remember?

It can be very difficult to forget someone who gives so much to remember. There is not an over abundance of givers out there and when you come across someone who is caring and giving it would be very difficult to forget that person.
If he loved you he'd have stayed with you and communicated to you what was going on. It appears that his ex spouse has control over him at this point and you shouldn't sit around in hopes of him returning. Get out with friends and back into the dating circuit. If you are meant to be together you will be and if not, then you are free to meet some nice guy that you deserve.
Is it wrong to give up on a relationship even though you made a commitment?
No commitment is unconditional and unqualified. You are bound to commitments you make only within reason. You have a RIGHT to change your mind whenever you want to. Life is too short. If the person is crazy, abusive etc etc, you can break the commitment. Obviously, this doesn't seem like a "flight-of-fancy" for you and sometimes, you have to save your own skin. I debated this soon after I left my abuser. However, I realized that when I made the commitment, it was based on that presumption of love and trust, not abuse. The abuser changed the relationship and therefore I changed (backed out of) my commitment.

I hear you girl! However, when I say this to myself I think "Have I ever known a woman that knows what she wants?" Nope! LOL Some of us are lucky to find men that know pretty much what they want in life as far as career (be it a laboring job or a high end career) and many men never know, but then again, most women don't know what they want in this area either. I can tell by your statement you're so angry your eyeballs are nearly blowing out of the back of your head, and there can only be one reason for that .... jilted! I don't think there are too many women that haven't been used and abused in the love department. I sure have. Was married before to a jerk and kicked my own butt for not having the sense to see the signs. Then I realized we all have to make mistakes (hopefully learn from them) to know what is good for us. Sometimes we are so enthralled with some good looking hunk and right next to us is the greatest guy around and we are blind-sided and lose out on something wonderful. Oddly enough, at least for me, the men I was really attracted too were tall men, with muscle (not overly muscular) but a great sense of humor and a good personality. I love to laugh! I don't enjoy "perfect looking people." It appears to me to be artificial and that the soul of that person is not right out there on top where it should be (this applies to the good looking ones that know it). Example: A guy could have a bit of a crooked nose, a quirky smile, sparkling eyes peering out of a not so handsome face and I'm attracted to them. Nicholas Cage (mmmm) not handsome, but just has charasma; Ernest Borgnine (you may not know this actor) but he was like a teddy bear and full of charisma; John Candy (loved his humor and if not married and given the chance would have jumped at the chance to have a date with him. Unfortunately, he has passed on.) I think by now, you're getting the picture. In my 20s to 30s I went through bouts of "looks", I dated a male model, lifeguard, (you know the type ... tan, white glimmering teeth, blonde, good bawd, etc., etc. How boring!) My own husband is good looking guy, but not a knock out. He is tall, slim, well muscled and my girlfriends think he looks like Clint Eastwood (but, my husband has sparkling blue eyes and a nice smile without those mean looking brooding eyes of old Clint. LOL) That old saying "the eyes are the windows of your soul" is so true. We have been married for 33 years and happy. If anything happened to him where he wasn't so good looking I'd be there 100% because I learned my lesson well ... I went for the soul, and got the greatest guy ever. If this guy did you dirt, consider yourself lucky that you got rid of this jerk. It was never meant to be and consider it a short lesson in life. Next time pick a guy more slowly and don't dive for the looks all the time. When you are in love with the soul that person is either beautiful in your eyes (woman) or handsome. If you are apart and he behaves "like he doesnt love you anymore" then it is over and the relationship isn't "salvagable"

We see in our life a couple is living with love and they also love their children and take care of their children and learn them teach them always respect your elder and take care of your brother and sisters.Children learn and adopt that things and see their parents life.they try to do that things
many times unity families adopt inherit the attitude of their forefather and many times broken families adopt attitude of their parents.

I think you still love this person, I think that you have an infatuation with this other person, its not really love, If you break it off with your current girlfriend most likely you will want them back & it might be to late. I think that you should lose all contact with the other person & concentrate on making your current relationship work put 100% into it..
