Why was it named the Walt Whitman Bridge?
I've asked the same question myself. He was a poet, but I've never heard or read a poem by him. In fact, he seems like a rather frustrated and unread poet.
Answer -Whitman lived in Camden NJ for 19 years & died there. And just because YOU never heard of him does not mean he was "a frustrated or unread poet". Even though having gone through many rewrites, Leaves of Grass (which was hailed as the "Declaration of Independence of American letters". The book received its strongest praise from Ralph Waldo Emerson, who wrote a flattering five-page letter to Whitman and spoke highly of the book to friends. Now let's face it, your opinion means much less to the literary world than that of Emerson's. Also, a few years after the completion & naming of the bridge, his house was designated a Historical Landmark. Regardless, you now have your answer, he lived the final years of his life in Camden

How did Andrew moray die at the battle of stirling bridge?
While no official cause of death has been acquired, it is widely accepted that Andrew de Moray was wounded at the Battle of Stirling Bridge and died later in November of the same year. Most likely, he died from a laceration wound, either from a sword or lance, and the wound was later infected. He may have been hit by an arrow, either from the English longbow men, or from the small amount of archers, also armed with the long bow, that the Scots mustered from Selkirk and Ettrick. de Moray and Wallace most likely fought in or near the front lines of the battle, so it may have been a lucky stab or cut that led to de Moray's demise.
What is confining reinforcement?
Confining reinforcement refers to reinforcement that is applied in such a way that it "confines" the concrete within it to provide increased strength and deflection capabilities. Confining reinforcement is used in both beam and column designs. In columns, spiral or helix reinforcement is implemented through the column, spiraling from top to bottom, with vertical longitudinal bars running through the inside of the helix. This prevents the concrete's diameter becoming larger under the applied load leading to failure. In correct terms it prevents the poisson's effect within the column.
In beams the confining reinforcement is generally place within the compressive region of the beam. This can be utilised to increase the yield deflection of the beam as well as the yield and ultimate loads. This is a good option for increasing the ductility of high strength concrete beams which would normally fail in a brittle manner.

A sea arch is an arch that is made from an eroded cliff face. The water makes the sea arch after many years.
Is iron a good material to construct a bridge?
It depends on the iron. Iron is strong in compression, but weak in tension and bending. Its strength and stiffness deteriorate when subjected to high heat, such as in a fire. Cast iron was sometimes used as construction material in the Industrial Revolution era, period between the 18th and 19th century. This was before modern steel was developed.
