To replace the lights in your car you need to unscrew the headlight cover on your Buick. Once this is removed you can unscrew and replace the old bulb.

The flasher unit can be found inside the dash directly to the left of the steering column (when sitting in drivers seat). Just remove the black kick panel on the underside of the dash. You'll then be able to look up inside and you should see a whitish grey mount with the flasher unit clipped to it. The flasher unit will be cylindrical in shape. It should say something similar to "Wagner 323" on it. Hope this helps.

I would have to say, around the time the second car was built. Hot rodders are a competition driven type of person. A hot rod is a car modified for performance, or, all the way too an extension of themselves. So, quick analysis tells me, you would need a car, to make a hot rod, and a reason. That would be another car to "beat", or "upscale". If one goes back through the "motivation" of the "competition" hot rodder, in the beginning, there were not "drag strips". The first "organization" of hot rodders, was the DTV. Danville, Timing, Association. Timing. They governed the "dry lakebeds", which only one car ran at a time, and it was for timing, not side by side racing. Thinking back to my inspirations throughout my racing, the car set a base time. I modified it to "improve", or "reduce" that time, out of "pride", "challenge", and for a source of pride, and accomplishment. So, maybe I am wrong. Maybe it was way before the second car. It might have been the first one, a day, or so earlier..........Chuck.
