How do you import pictures from Disney pix camera?

This is a very old, unsupported camera, which should not be sold or even given away.

Install the "Disney Pix Micro Downloader" from the supplied CD. Choose \My Pictures\ as the default destination directory, until you get smarter about it.

(Most attempts to get the driver from the web will divert you to an advert trap, to sell you a useless program like 'Driver Detective' etc.)

If you cannot install and run the Downloader, don't bother to take any pictures, and throw the camera away.

Take some test pictures. If they don't work, throw the camera away.

Connect the camera to any USB port on your computer using the supplied or any compatible cable.

If the computer does not automatically recognize the camera and open the program window, you must Start > Programs > Disney Pix > Disney Pix Micro Downloader.

Prepare to use only English characters in the file names.

Follow the instructions, or just select the camera file pictures, and drag them to the desired computer folder.

If that does not work, throw the camera away & Start > Programs > Disney Pix > uninstall.

{I cannot seem to remove the strikethrough.}

Is flash cameras flashing a chemical or physical change?

The flash of a camera is a physical change, not a chemical change. A physical change is a change in the form of a substance without changing its chemical composition. In the case of a camera flash, electrical energy is converted into light energy, which is a physical process that does not alter the chemical makeup of the components involved.

Do most digital cameras offer the capability to control image quality and why would you ever want to take lower-quality images?

The "iso" control on a digital camera adjusts the image quality. As to why you'd want to...maybe there's enough light to take a best-quality picture at 1/30 second...but the thing you want to photograph has to be shot at 1/250 second. By adjusting the "iso" control to give you a grainier picture, you can use the shutter speed the picture requires.

Does the brand of memory card matter for your camera?

The brand does not generally matter. The speed of the card varies and this must be at the right level for your camera.

Generally, cheaper cards are slower and so will not be able to take advantage of continuous shooting to the same degree. Some card speeds are too slow for features such as HD video recording.

What is stopping action in photography?

"Stopping action": You could be referring to the use of shutter speeds fast enough to freeze motion and eliminate any motion blur (sometimes a boring or inappropriate technique). Or you might be referring to a stage of the film developing process where development is abruptly stopped with a stop bath.

What can a 15-year-old do if his self-esteem is being affected because he doesn't have a game console or cell phone or iPod or a camera?

Grow up and recognize that "stuff" doesn't define who you are. If "stuff" is so important to you, why not study hard in school, get good enough grades to be an Honors student, get a scholarship to college and make a TON of money so you can have all of the "stuff" that you obviously think is so important. * Not having all the "cool" (do they still use that word?) things that your peers have is difficult especially when they play such an important part in teenage society. Perhaps you could earn some money by doing errands for neighbors, mowing lawns or even babysitting. Then you could save your money and buy some of the things you are longing for and have the extra benefit of being proud of your resourcefulness, good work ethic and personal responsibility, all of which are a big part of "growing up". NOOOOO of course not, you are (i bet) a wonderful person even tho you dont have all the stuff that is in!!! You should not feel that not having certain things while affect your self esteem!! Look at me for example!! lol I am close to your age and i did not get a cell phone till my junior year!! I was fine with it!! Maybe find some ways to earn some extra buck, there are so many awesome jobs out there!!!

How would a business use a digital camera?

Who invented the first camera in the 1900s?

The first camera was invented long before the 1900s. George Eastman invented the "Kodak" camera, the first camera marketed to the general public, in the 1900s.

When was macro photography invented?

somewhere between 1835 and 1839 by William Henry Fox Talbot.

the name "macro" was not applied until much later, though.

Look at Fox Talbot's early prints of moth's wings, leaves, and flowers, and it is clear.

Is it a must to format new SD card for camera before using?

The five cameras that I have had that used SD cards didnot need a formatting of the card before using it in the cameras.

One of these cars will not be recognized in a couple of USB card holders that I have tried and it will not be recognized by the built in SD card reader in my stationary computer but I can read the card through the camera's USB connection so I'm not worrying about it.

How does technology affect photography?

Photography is affected by technology because long ago a photographer sat for hours attempting to get the perfect photograph and it actually took skill. In our current time period i believe it has lost much of its challenge allowing anyone to snap thousands of pictures and just discard the incorrect ones. I believe a true photographer still rocks the 16MM camera with a roll of film.

How do you connect a Sony digital camera with a USB mini B cable to an Epson photo printer?

If the camera supports direct printing or the printer supports direct connection to a camera (which it sounds like they don't) you would simply connect them together using the apprpriate USB cable.

Otherwise, you need to use a PC or a laptop with at least two USB ports (one for each device) and the appropriate software installed.

The software to retrieve the photographs is usually bundled with the camera. Printers also need their drivers installed to work properly.

Most PC's and laptops support USB these days.

How do the shutter and lens of a camera work together to form an image?

They both use convex lenses and they dsend signals to each other just like the brain.

What part of the camera provides the selection of shutter speeds?

If the camera has a "shutter priority mode", usually called "S mode", then the shutter speed is controlled directly by the user when the camera is in this mode, by moving a dial or pressing a button (or both).

If the camera has a "manual" mode, usually called "M mode", then the shutter speed and aperture are both controlled directly by the user by moving dials or pressing buttons (or both).

Some cameras have automatic modes which allow the user to control the minimum and maximum shutter speeds that will be selected by the camera when considering all other factors. If the minimum shutter speed is reached, the camera will increase the ISO or aperture size to compensate for under-exposure. If the maximum shutter speed is reached, the camera will decrease the ISO or aperture size to compensate for over-exposure.

Are slr cameras good for landscape photography?

They would be used in the vast majority of cases due to their relative ease of use and ability to accept different lenses or filters that one might use to enhance the image. So, yes. The rangefinder camera could be a close second. However, the slr is not the absolute best. A panoramic camera (fairly rare) would be better for wide scenery. For the absolute in image control, a view camera (aka field or monorail) can't be beat.

Jenifer hits a stationary 200g ball and it leaves the racket at 40 m s If time lapse photography shows that the ball was in contact w the racket for 40ms what average force was exerted on the racket?

One way to look at questions like these, especially artificial "school" questions is to look at the units given, and the desired units. Be careful of getting "extra" or "missing" info.

Force in Newtons: kg*m/s*s
You are given a speed (m/s), and a time (ms), and a weight in grams.

The first step would be to convert to "standard" units. 200g / (1000 g/kg) = 0.2 kg
40ms / (1000 ms/s) = 0.04 s

So you get:
Force = ((0.2kg) * (40 m/s)) / (0.04s) = 200 kg*m/s*s = 200 Newtons.

Will a 700 transmission with a 350 motor from a 1986 camera work in a 1956 Chevrolet truck when the 700 transmission has no vacuum lines?

Yes it will. The 700R4 uses a control cable that attaches to the carb linkage for shift points and shift pressures. Do not confuse this with a "kick down" cable because it is totally different. A good transmission shop can reconfigure the 700R4 to work without the electrical control harness that it required in the Camaro. The great point of the 700R4 is that it has a first gear that is about 25% lower than a turbo 400 and has the overdrive. You get quicker take offs and better highway mileage. Be sure to talk to a reputable transmission shop and get their input as well, but I can tell you that it will be the best move you can make. Good luck.

How has photography changed How has it changed since it has been invented?

there is now a choice between color photos and black and white photos instead of just black and white. plus camera technology has improved ALOT since it was invented. you dont have to worry about the flash bulb exploding in your face when you take a picture. that's a big plus.
