it depends on the size of the fish and the tank. if the fish are to small the may fall prey to the crayfish, this problem can be avoided if you have a large tank but, most people would advise that you don't mix these two types of animals

I agree I caught one without claws and it is doing fine in my tropical tank but it is still small.

A crayfish isn't a good idea if you have small fish in the tank.

My six baby hamsters (pups) are 16 days old today and this is the first day they started to open their eyes. One has eyes wide open, some just barely open, and one not open yet so it varies by hamster but typically 15-18 days old.

Well...no body knows the EXCACT time of hamster going to sleep, but they sleep at day and wake up at night.If you can't stay up late then you shouldn't buy a hamster, but they do make a great pet!

The first day or so, I suggest not trying to handle it, let it settle down and have some alone time. Moving them to a new home is stressful, and most likely they will express fear if you force interaction or grab him/her before she even gets to know you. Plus they do what I call nervous poops when you first interact with them; don't get angry though, they are in a new environment and are surrounded with strange smells and sounds which is pretty daunting to a creature who is 100 times smaller than you are.

I had an old article of clothing (like a shirt) that has my scent on it and I left it in their cage for 2-3 days. Every time you pass their cage or are around them, talk in a calm voice to them. Any sort of pleasant and soft voice, and talk often around them so they get used to you.

Use cooked chicken, yogurt on a spoon, uncooked oats, cheerios, broccoli, banana slice, apple slice, unsalted peanuts, or something that they seem to want that is relatively healthy to use to bring them to you. First show them that it's in your hand, then move it away slowing causing them to follow what you have that they want. They will eventually venture outside of the cage if they want their treat badly enough. They will soon realize that the you are giving them all these wonderful treats and that you mean no to harm them.

Solitary rats get lonesome fast, but if you can only afford ONE, handle it as much as possible. Gently scoop it out of it's cage (after they are fully awake of course) and let him/her adventure on a bed while your laying on it. They will use your pillows and blankets as caves and tunnels, and use your body as a jungle gym. That or veg out and watch tv with them, as they will most likely perch on your shoulder and nest in your hair. They are very social creatures and need constant company. At LEAST 2-3 hours a day if not more of socialization.

Many mammals are born with their eyes closed like this. It has to do with whether or not the babies need to see right after birth or not. Mice (and rabbits) are born in dark burrows and cared for by their mothers, so they don't need to have their eyes open right away. Animals like horses need to see if a predator is approaching, so they're born with their eyes open.

No! The cheese is eaten by mice that are in cartoons but REAL LIFE they DONT! do NOT feed your pet mouse any cheese. The Swiss cheese, cheddar, etc. are bad for them. If you give them cheese, they should die.

There are several ways of telling.

1. If you find little pelt's of poo around your house.

2. If your chord's that are on the ground have been chewed or destroyed.

3. If you hear little noise's like tiny feet around your house at night.

If any of the above then you probably do.

What to do if you have Mice: Lay trap's around and put Peanut Butter on them, Peanut Butter works better then Cheese because it has a stronger smell. Give that a little while. If that doesn't work, then I suggest you call a professional to come in and check for hole's around your house or crack's where they can come in, then they will get rid of the mice, and your problem is solved.

They have 4 fingers on the front hands/ paws. Their thumb is a small stubby nail.

if the baby is in the right position a sonographer can usually tell what the sex is at your 22 week sonogram. they say if you carry the baby high it is a girl and if you carry a baby low it is a boy. that was how it was for me , but i wouldn't rely on it. with my son i carried really low and all out front and with my daughter i carried high and wide( she is the reason i now have love handles) also alot of women "just know". trust your instincts!!!!
