If she has a urinary infection, she might be associating her litter box with pain. That would force her to go somewhere else. Only a vet could verify that though.

My female cat ( spayed ) has a liking for clothes that have just been washed I thought maybe she liked the smell of the soap powder or something. Maybe Your cat also has an attraction to clean laundry but because she is unspayed she is leaving her scent there.
