How do you know when a male cat is sterile?
Something I learned in my Biology class today:
The color alleles on cats are located on the X chromosomes in DNA. Calicos and tortoiseshell cats are usually female because they have an orange X chromosome and a black X chromosome. These two colors will be co-dominant, meaning that neither one or another will be prevalent on the cat's body. This is why calicos and tortoiseshell cats have random patterns of orange and black fur (the white fur, if any, is just a sort of background to the color).
Since two X chromosomes in an animal means that it is female and a XY sex chromosome layout means that the animal is male, it is extremely rare for a male cat to have both the orange and the black X chromosomes required for the calico coat. For this to be possible, the male cat must have a XXY layout of chromosomes - the equivalent of the human Klinefelter's Syndrome. This syndrome almost always leads to the sterility of the animal that has it, although there have supposedly been cases where individuals with Klinefelter's have been fertile. And as to why Klinefelter's causes sterility, I don't have a clue.
Hobbies? Cats love napping, cuddling, playing and frolicking, snacking, sometimes watching t.v., ....but I think their favorite hobby is observing the stupidity of some human beings.
How do you tech a cat to go poop in the litter box?
You have to carry it to the litter box and move his paws up and down in the sand granules until it gets used to the idea.
You should do it three times before it begins to do it.
How often do you change your cat's water?
About every 2-3 days. Cats don't need fresh water every day. If you have a water bowl set up outside, then I'd probably change it more often. But in the house, every 2-3 days or when you notice it is getting empty is ok.
Can your metabolism return to normal after being anorexic?
Yes. It can regain much of its strength and health, but depending on the extent that the body was deprived of its nutrients, in severe cases, some permanent damage will likely remain. The main consequence is the frailty and delicacy of the body systems after severe anorexia. On the bright side, if the person is young, their body will still have great restorative powers. If it is cared for well, it will bounce back to a healthy level with good metabolism. But the sooner the better.
How do you you train a dog and cat to get along?
You can't really train them to get along, but to put them near enough to have a good look at each other but not "invade" each other personal space, usually around 2-3 feet or a meter if your Australian, is enough.
Another way is to spend equal time with them, as they can feel jealously just like us, also spend time together with them.
Just give them time, they'll come around.
Why when you try to touch your cat it runs?
The cat might not feel comfortable with you yet if you just got him/her. Try giving him/her a treat so he/she will come to you. Then, let him/her sniff you and slowly/gently pet the cat. Don't make any sudden movements. Of course, every cat has a different personality, so if this doesn't work you might need to try something else.
How do you not cry when a cat is dying?
Its not possible, cats are important to there owners once you make feeling for something then they become important in your heart then the tears come.
If you love the cat, then you will cry, it's impossible not to. You can lessen the sadness by thinking of all the good times you and the cat have had together, and how happy the cat will be where s/he is going...
How do you stop your kitten from pulling out her stitches?
The easiest way is with the "cone of shame", more commonly known as the Elizabethan collar on dogs. There are small cones that can be trimmed and tightened down to fit a kitten's neck and keep her from chewing out her stitches.
If she already has the stitches partly out, she may need to have them placed again. If this is the case, you should ask your veterinarian if he/she can do a buried intradermal suture pattern instead so that your kitten doesn't pull them out again.
Why did the feral cat bring her dead kitten to the door?
i think they do this to mourn their kitten and to show surrenderness
Why do cats runaway when they're about to have babies?
cats runaway when they have babies cause they get scared that other cats will find them so they run and hide then after a week or 2 it will come back and have they're babies at home in a place where it is warm

The most sensual position for peeing in my husbands mouth?

Why is your 8 week old kitten keeps getting gunk in its eye?
All cats get that. My adult cats have that. Don't you wake up in the morning with eye gunk or crust? It's essentially the same thing. It's the feline's eye cleaning itself of dirt, and it gathers in the corners usually. Now if this is an abnormal color, I highly suggest you see a veterinarian.
There is a special kind of spray that 'repels' cats, you spray it on carpets furn, etc. we use BOUNDARY INDOOR/OUTDOOR CAT REPELLENT. Note: This is really only if your cat has 'special' places where it sprays. You don't want to spray this stuff all over your house. Or, you could do what my friends did, which seemed to work. They made their cat live outside/in garage until it stopped. Beyond that, there isn't anything you can do.
By peach I expect you mean ginger. No, 90% of ginger cats are male just as 90% of calico/tortoiseshell cats are female. Those two colours are part of the same mutation, Ginger being male and tortie being female but there is cases of ginger females and tortie males.
