Warm milk is NOT a cat remedy. Cats (adult) don't have the lactase enzyme to digest lactose in milk. Milk is for calves... I found Bach's STRESS REMEDY online, and then at pet supply stores. They make animal formulas, and even alcohol-free animal formulas. I tried it and gave her four drops. She is sleeping after 14 hours on vet prescribed/given xanax, screaming ALL NIGHT. Also got Sentry's "calming collar". Natural herbs in Bach's products, and pheromones in calming collar. She is night-night FINALLY!

Yes, garden fertilizer can kill cats. Don't let your cat outside after using fertilizer.

To the best of my knowledge, no cat litter is truly recyclable; after all, how exactly are you going to recycle something that is contaminated with biological waste and probably contains infectious disease organisms? Some forms of cat litter, such as Yesterday's News, are recycled from other products; in the case of Yesterday's News, the litter is made from recycled newspaper.

There is a large percentage of people that get their feelings hurt easily and some people just cover up those feelings; some act as if it doesn't matter while some people can be reduced to tears depending on what caused you to have hurt feelings. Go with the flow! It's part of nature and we are all allowed to feel hurt, angry, frustrated or slightly depressed at times. If someone hurts your feelings then let them know it! Sometimes people say things they don't realize came out the wrong way or perhaps they truly are nasty and meant to hurt you. If they meant to hurt you then you can bet they either envy you, could be jealous, because a confident person doesn't have to openly hurt someone else. By speaking your mind at the time the person hurt you they may wise up and YOU are in total control of whether you want that person as a boyfriend, husband or friend. People that hurt you on purpose on a regular basis are people you get rid of out of your life because they use up too much of YOUR energy. Every year I call it 'shaking the old apple tree' to see what rotten apples hit the ground! Those that hit the ground are out of my life. Sounds callous I know, but it's survival. These are people in my life that add nothing to my life and are 'high maintenance' meaning they always want something from me (give nothing of themselves back to me), perhaps constantly moody, always complaining and yet doing nothing to help themselves. I usually give a person several chances to rectify our friendship, but if they don't get the picture then out they go! As you age you will also be able to handle most things without feeling so hurt, so your path in life is a learning field. Don't worry so much about it.

a GOOD QUALITY cat litter box can cost anywhere between 20 and 25 dollars. The litter boxes at Walmart would cost more like 15 dollars, or less

You will need a small bed that feels cozy to them and a small litter box that they can get in and out of. Use the litter they have been using if you are the owner of the newborn kittens, scoop away, is the best brand for them. Use a scooper everyday and clean the litter box every 2 weeks depending on size. Now you will need a small easy-to-get-to food bowls. You can get them personalized or do it yourself. You will need tiny toys for your kitten and a scratching post. Dont get any treats yet and make an appointment with the vet to get the worming tools and shots at age 8 weeks. Food wise go get the food they have been using or if you are the owner of the newborn kittens use purina kitten chow. Add a little bit of warm water to moisten it. good luck

Cats, like people, grieve when they lose one another. Your cat is probably grieving the loss of its family member. Give your cat extra attention and love. It may sound odd if no one has suggested this to you before - but, meow back at the cat. Practice to get the same tone and length as the meow your cat is making. It satisfies their need to hear a response. This too may tend to annoy you, but it is proven to work in many, many cases like yours.
