Its funny, I ran across this and I myself would like to know the answer. I have been friends with this guy 4 years. We attend the same school and had class with each other. I was pregnant and had left their father..and he volunteered to be with me while I had him..(I didnt allow it). When I moved going on a year ago helped me move and he was there everyday visiting and checking up on us. He baked all kinds of goodies and cooked for me on a regular but he never crossed the line. So, one day I decided to share my innermost feelings for him..and at the same time he decided that he wanted to tell me something that he felt he should have been told me which was the fact that he was married. He still remains my bestfriend...but I love him dearly. I pray about this all the time bc I dont believe in adultery nor do I like feeling this way towards him. Actually, I feel like he should have been wearing his ring. I also feel like he should have been honest in the beginning about his status reguardless of them being seperated. I am a single mother of 2 handsome little men. I am abstinent and he knows these things. Why would a man lie about something like this? I was honest from the beginning. He knows what kind of woman I am because he was over here everyday. Some times I feel like I want to slap the hell out of him for not being honest...I hate liars....:(((

I would simply confront him. Ask him, if he tells you that he's not, and you still don't trust his answer, let him know that you're sorry but you're not comfortable. Let him know that you aren't trying to be difficult, but you'd like it if he could do something that could help your insecurities.

If you cannot forgive at this time and it is always on your mind he needs to be out of your life. but it is always better to save the marriage, that is a small part of life that some of us have to go through even tho' it really hurts now. You will be stronger in dealing with other aspects of a relationship.

Usually, the spouse will act very strange and leave the house a lot. Also, when you ask them where they have been they may hesitate and then quickly change the subjuct. To find out if they are having an affair, just stalk them. It may be difficult, but try to make it look natural. If they ask why you're doing that, don't cover up. Just tell them the truth and ask them if they are. If they refuse to answer, you know somethings up and i would walk out. If you have children, take them with you for a few days. Then come back and see how things are going. If well, you would have to go through some major marriage counseling and try to sort things out, but they should have never had an affair in the first place.

Just tell her how you feel.... ask her would she be interested in going out to dinner with you.... Ask her if she's doing anything on the date in question, and then ask if she likes the kind of food served at the place you want to go. Then ask if she would like to go with you. You can act a little more intamate with a freind, but don't over do it unless you have reason to believe that she feels the same way about you. Well, Ive had this happen to me before. I have two guy friends that i was really close with but they got really jealous of me and my boyfriend dating. They were going to fight each other but i just told them to stop and one day they decided that they didnt want to talk to me anymore so i told them okay and now me and my boyfriend are having a great relationship.

All i can tell you to do, is if your willing to stop talking to your guy friends then do that and make your bf your number one priority, Or dump the guy your with to make your guy friends happy.

Well, it's a very specific situation, but generally speaking, a man/woman who cheated on their partner or use to do that regularly CAN change their ways after meeting their true love. I have a friend who used to cheat on her boyfriends regularly (kind of shocked me when she told me about it) but after she met the man who is now her husband, she changed. Funnily enough, her husband was even worse than her, and now he's madly in love and a model dad for their two kids:)

From my past experience I can't live with my husband for having an affair. It doesn't matter how it's been but every time I see his face, it reminds me on how good he treated his mistress than me. There are more and more laws being passed to protect both men and women and also Abused Women's Centers for victims to escape too. There are programs for females/males that are victims of abuse as well as children. The number is as close as your Mental Health Clinic.

Why is he still your boyfriend? If you don't like what he is doing, leave him. Life is too short to put up with nonsense.

You should definitely try to talk your boyfriend into seeking professional help first and foremost.

Secondly, do not blame yourself, he is apparently going through some type of inner struggle and you are not to blame for anything because you did nothing wrong.

Talk with him about his problems (if he cares to talk about them) be supportive and understanding. If he starts to take it out on you, try to explain to him that you are not the one to blame, and he should find a professional to talk to, to find out why he is having these feelings.

We've all got problems, things in our lives that we are dealing with emotionally/mentally.

Sometimes we all need a little help, and there is no shame in seeking that help from a psychologist/therapist or support group.

In fact it makes you a stronger person when you face your problems and realize and understand that you need help.

Also when your best friend is around both you and your husband she may have fallen in love with him.
