You'll need to isolate the individual components and different branches of the wiring. With everything turned off or unplugged, use a meter across the fuse and find out if there is a short to ground. If there is, follow the wiring through to find the short. You'll have to find the individual connections and wiring branches. To do that, you'll need a wiring diagram. That kind of problem is frustrating and tedious to solve, but with a little effort and dedication and some natural ability, you can certainly solve the problem.

Most thermostats are in-line with the upper radiator hose. Check the housing where the upper radiator hose connects to the block.

It could be any one of the following: 1. The fan motor is overheating and is shutting down on overload, which will cause the compressor to shut down via the high pressure switch. 2. The compressor is getting too hot and is shutting down via the thermal overload switch. You need to determine if the fan and the compressor both come on at the outdoor unit. If you are getting cold air inside the house, the compressor is probably running. It generally takes longer than 1 minute for the fan to go out on overload unless the bearings are shot, then the fan motor could seize up and shut the compressor down on overload. You should have this checked by an HVAC tech.

IF ITS A 4.3 THEY ARE UNDER THE BLACK PLASTIC COVER ON THE INTAKE CALLED THE PLENUM The injection system on the 4.3 is one unit called a CPI Spider . Six poppit valves are attached to small tubes , one for each cylinder . Not a very big unit but pricey . The fuel regulator is attached to the Spider.The small fuel tubes on the Spider are proned to cracking with age and leak fuel which over fuels the engine and causes bad milage and hard starting . Takes about 45 mins. to change if you are handy . I know , I have done this job twice myself.

You can't replace just the bearings. The wheel hub assembly is replaced as a whole unit. The cost of the assembly should range between $150 and $175. The labor to do the job should probably be an hour. Typical hourly rates are $60 - $100 an hour. The job is simple enough to do yourself if you have air tools. The shaft can get stuck to the inside of the assembly and an impact hammer is needed to push it out.

You need to specify your make, model of car. Some cars have power steering coolers in front of the radiator and some don't. Most powers teering leaks come from the power steering pump seal going bad which can be temporarily fixed by using an additive like Lucas Power Steering Stop Leak. It's a little pricey but can get you by and has stopped leaks in my power steering units. If the leak or seal is real bad then you will need to replace the pump, and it may or may not have the reservoir attached to it. Most cars do not have the power steering cooler but some of todays high performance cars do and if something has punctured the cooler, or the lines leading to it, then you may need to replace the cooler or hose. Identify your car and try to determine where the exact leak is and then repost for better help.

remove the thermostat housing bolts 13mm or 14mm (it is atacched to your upper radiator hose) and remove thermostat clean intake surface and housing replace with a new a gasket anf you are done

I HAVE A 1997 BLAZER AND MINE IS ON THE DRIVER SIDE OF THE CAR. IF YOUR SITTING IN THE DRIVER SEAT AND YOU OPEN THE DRIVER DOOR IT IS TO THE LEFT OF THE LIGHT SWITCH, FACING OUTSIDE. TURN THE LITTLE BLACK KNOB AND THE FUSES ARE INSIDE. GOOD LUCK! There could be a fuse box and a breaker box on this vehicle. The fuse box is either under the dashboard on the driver's side or on the side of the dashinbetween the door and dash. The breaker box is usually under the hood. ANSWER 1982 - 93 S10 & T10 models fuse panel was located under the drivers side dash board next to the brake pedal.

Greetings, A code 42 indicates that the electronic spark timing bypass circuit or the electronic spark timing circuit is either open or shorted. A malfunctioning HEI module can cause this.

I am sorry, I am not technical on this stuff, but we had the same problem on our 95 Mustang GT. We had to take it into the dealer and the problem was that one of the hoses had come loose, so it was not blowing enough air pressure to force the vents open.

It depends on which engine. For the 4.3 V6 it is 6 1 2 3 4 5. The firing order should be stamped on the intake manifold.

usually either the calipers have dirt in them and need to be replaced or the rubber lines leading to them have collapsed inside and need to be replaced.. really kills the gas mileage uh!! chevy has had problems with rear discs on these vehicles,70%of braking is on the front,30% on the rear. therefore the pistons get little use and stick. there are stainless sliders the calipers move on,you need to clean and lubricate them,this should stop the brakes from dragging. I have a 1999 Blazer and my rear brakes were grinding so I replaced the pads and rotors but had the same sticking problem. They dont offer a rebuild kit for my calipers so I had to replace the calipers also.

check to make sure it is the sunroof for one, 2nd after your sure, replace the rubber seal, 40 bucks i think, the rubber gets old and the window wont set down onto it properly anymore, also if you have gallon of water in the back seat but roof isn't wet, its not the sunroof, its the front window leaking down the frame rails then into the back seat, my sunroof leaks barely, but made me think the gallons in back seat was it, it was not the source of the heavy leaks, anyhow, hope it helps ya...

I'm not familiar with your model, but usually on the vehicles I've seen both the front and back share the same reservoir.

1.disconect negative battety cable. 2.drain coolant 3.drain oil and remove filter 4.remove intake and exhaust manifolds 5.remove valve cover 6.remove timing chain 7.remove alternator 8.unbolt power steering pump and set it aside without disconecting hoses 9.label and detatch any remaing wiring or hoses that would get in the way 10.support engine with a jack and block of wood under oil pan. remove right motor mount 11.remove the head bolts in 1\4 turn increments until they can be removed by hand. do so in the reverse sequence of tightening. 12.lift head off. if stuck pry up at the transaxle side.

There are actually 2 oxygen sensors on a Neon. The upstream and downstream. The upstream is located on the exhaust manifold and the downstream is on the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter. I can't give you a diagram, but it is easy to find. If you look at the exhaust pipe about a foot back from where it connects to the exhaust manifold at the engine, you will see a sensor sticking out of the side of the pipe. That's your O2 sensor. To remove, simply unplug the wire, and use a deep socket or box end wrench to remove it.

This is a very difficult job for a do-it-yourselfer. Seriously, if you really don't know how to change the water pump on your Blazer then I'd recommend for you to take it to a qualified, reputable shop and have it done for you. If that's not feasible for whatever reasons and you basically need to do it yourself, then I'd say find a willing friend or relative to show you how and be there to help you do it. Find someone who is very knowledgable when it comes to working on automobiles. Find someone who has a real background in automotive mechanics. If you don't know anyone that can help you in this way then you can go to your local parts store or library and get a copy of the Chiltons manual for your specific vehicle. These are loads of help. They usually have very detailed step-by-step instructions along with a limited amount of pictures to help you along. They will even go into what other stuff you have to take off first and how to take it off. They will also tell you what tools you will need to complete the project. If for whatever reason all of the above solutions are not able to be done, then maybe you could attempt it yourself. But, make sure you take your time, and be very calm, and keep track of what you're are doing through every step. Make sure to use the right tools for the job. You won't believe the extra headache you'll cause yourself if you round a bolt head from using the wrong socket, or vise grips. Also find some masking tape and label all wires, hoses, nuts, bolts, that you take off and their attaching places if you have to. If you do that I see no reason as to why you could not complete this yourself. A lot of novices have followed my walkthrough with positive results.
