There are actually 2 oxygen sensors on a Neon. The upstream and downstream. The upstream is located on the exhaust manifold and the downstream is on the exhaust pipe after the catalytic converter. I can't give you a diagram, but it is easy to find. If you look at the exhaust pipe about a foot back from where it connects to the exhaust manifold at the engine, you will see a sensor sticking out of the side of the pipe. That's your O2 sensor. To remove, simply unplug the wire, and use a deep socket or box end wrench to remove it.

This is a very difficult job for a do-it-yourselfer. Seriously, if you really don't know how to change the water pump on your Blazer then I'd recommend for you to take it to a qualified, reputable shop and have it done for you. If that's not feasible for whatever reasons and you basically need to do it yourself, then I'd say find a willing friend or relative to show you how and be there to help you do it. Find someone who is very knowledgable when it comes to working on automobiles. Find someone who has a real background in automotive mechanics. If you don't know anyone that can help you in this way then you can go to your local parts store or library and get a copy of the Chiltons manual for your specific vehicle. These are loads of help. They usually have very detailed step-by-step instructions along with a limited amount of pictures to help you along. They will even go into what other stuff you have to take off first and how to take it off. They will also tell you what tools you will need to complete the project. If for whatever reason all of the above solutions are not able to be done, then maybe you could attempt it yourself. But, make sure you take your time, and be very calm, and keep track of what you're are doing through every step. Make sure to use the right tools for the job. You won't believe the extra headache you'll cause yourself if you round a bolt head from using the wrong socket, or vise grips. Also find some masking tape and label all wires, hoses, nuts, bolts, that you take off and their attaching places if you have to. If you do that I see no reason as to why you could not complete this yourself. A lot of novices have followed my walkthrough with positive results. i think that your oil filter failed or a transmission line ruptured. also it might be your gasket might have contracted a leak. It can be a number of things, low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, low or no voltage. are the most common. You should always be aware of the position of the manual guages when everything is operating normally. This way when the check guages light flashes a quick look across the instrument display will tell you what the problem is. If it comes on right away after starting the motor, it is likely the oil or voltage. If it comes on after a bit of driving then likely it is the coolant temperture. One of the gauges will tell the story. Low fuel is one that wasn't mentioned above.

If it does this after run on hiway, it can be the tcc in the trans. If it does it all the time try cleaning the idle control solonoid and the inside of the throtle body.

You will need to remove the inside door panel of your 1988 Chevrolet Blazer S 10. Remove the door handle linkage. Remove the door handle retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new door handle.

Pry out the old one, gently tap in a new one, brass preferably.

The Chevrolet Blazer does not have a fuel pump reset button.

You will need to remove the retaining ring from the top of your 1989 Chevrolet blazer ignition switch. Slide the ignition switch out and remove the wiring harness. Reverse the process to install the new ignition switch.

With the ignition on and the radio off pull the Scan and Seek buttons out to change the hours and minutes.

The reason will more than likely be because when you changed the pads you had to compress the caliper piston in order to put new pads on. you did'NT compress it far enough. did you have a hard time putting thr caliper and pads back over the rotor. If so this is your problem. When you say that the tire doesn't spin, do you mean it feels like someone has their foot on the brake or that it doesn't spin as freely as it did befor you changed the brakes. write back and let me know.

Ok to start with you have to remove the grill and the chrome around the lights. Then between the hood and the front plastic/fibreglass there is a crack with five hex screws the middle screw is smaller than the other four, take em out, there is two nuts one on the left and one on the right they are hidden under the chrome light cover hence the need to remove thelight surrounds. once all this has been done remove the plastic/fibreglass and unplug the turn and marker lights. Now the important part as the Cherokee has two latches one on the left and one on the right so from the front of the vehicle on the right take a long screwdriver and looking in under the hood push the little piece you can see to the right, now the left latch should pop up. Dont bother with the right latch as it also moves to the right but you can push on anything to open it. Now with the hood left side up you can reach in and grab the thin bar and pull it to the left and voila the hood will open. Removing the cable is eay just unscrew the door plate not all the way just loosen two screw closest to the dash and remove the two screws holding the plastic cover on the side wall and you can get it out. Next remove the three that's right three screws holding the release cable to the side wall. Next remove the two screws holding the fuse box to the front wall. Next remove the cable from under the hood just pop it out and open the two clips holding it to the hood. You can now pull it out through the fire wall and installthe new one the same way it came out you'll need a helper to push on the rubber stop as you pull the cable through from the engine compartment. It may be true for this model year, but for a 2000 Jeep Cherokee (mine), it isn't this complicated. Remove both headlight bezels and both headlights. Behind the headlight bowl/socket/cup (thingy that the headlight sits in), there are two bolts. One goes straight up and down from the upper part behind the headlight socket and takes a 12mm socket. This holds the top part of the striker. Just offset from center toward the outside of the vehicle is another bolt that takes a 13 mm socket and is the only one you can really see. This one requires use of a universal to get to the socket. This is the only other bolt holding the strikers to the vehicle. Once you have the four bolts out, use something soft to gently pry the hood up and it will be released as normal from the center latch. I used the above method and succeeded in scratching the leading edge of my hood and the trailing edge of the grill.

To do this you have to remove the steering wheel, steering column, evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system and drain the radiator. I would only consider changing the heater core if it is physically leaking into the passenger compartment. I have a 94 Grand Cherokee, and the Block heater is on the drivers side front of the block. From under the front, you can see it, about 1/2 way up. Your plug, as your asking, if I get it right, comes out from there, just follow the cord till you find the end.

you have to remove the interior panel. You did not state what year your Jeep is.Very carefully pop the panel out a little bit, you should have 2 screws in the bottom corners.The panel must be raised UP a bit to pull out. Take your time and damage will be minimal.good luck, Mike

Glenda, most systems use either mechanical or vacume to operate the vent doors on the airflow ducts. You either have a vacume leak or the mechanical lever needs adjustment. . John In Montana

Do you have tail lights? If so, did you or somebody else install an aftermarket radio? On a lot of Japanese cars, the dimmer is wired backwards to what would be referred to as normal American design, and the aftermarket radio will burn out the dash light dimmer controller. So, not only will you need to buy a new controller, you will have to find the right wire, and eliminate it from the radio's adapter harness. Yeah it gets pretty messy, alright.

You're going to have to pull the latch manually. The best bet is to go through the grille with a special tool or fabricate one out of heavy wire. The cable connects to the driver's side of the latch and pulls it open from there.

Any Chevy transmission will bolt to any Chevy motor. At least RWD. 1955 to current. A 454 should really have a 400 transmission but a 350 will work. Depending on what you are putting it in there may be an issue with the driveshaft length and the yoke that goes into the trans.
