Can a 74 camaro exchange with a 72 split bumper front clip?
yes, if u have a donor car this would be easy, ull need everything except the fenders and hood, you can get away with the readiator support but will need to drill some new holes, dont be afraid to make it all fit together with a little modification, it wont be to bad really with the 74-77, compared to the 78-81 where youll need everything
How do you replace a drive belt for a 2002 camaro 3.8 liter?
go to NAPA Auto Parts and get the proper size belt. Get a ratchet with a socket that fits the tensioner along the drive belt path. It's the pulley that looks like it's just sitting there, not doing anything. Put the socket on it. Either pull or push. Whatever way works, it will relieve tension on the belt as long as you have it pushed down. You can pull the belt off. Put the new belt on around everything but the tensioner. Make sure the routing is correct! There's a sticker by your radiator that should have a diagram. push the tensioner down and slide the belt onto it. It may not be easy. And if you can, get your belt from NAPA Auto Parts. They have high quality belts there that won't stretch. It may cost you like 25 bucks, though. It's well worth it.

What motor came in the 1969 Chevy Camaro?
3 different motors actually. The stock plain Jane ones came with 305s and some of the SS's came with 350s But majority of the true SS's came with a 396ci/375hp motor (or at least that's what mine was before the burger built add on were put on) the RS's usually came with 350's aswell. So they came with 305 350 or 396,,, ooooh and the very rare CoPo's came with the expensive 427 motor aswell
How do you remove the shift knob on a 1986 Camaro with a V6 and an automatic transmission?
all you have to do is look for the clip in the front of the shift knob and pop it forward with a small flatheat screwdriver
AnswerThe knob is retained by a black steel ring clip hidden underneath the center button. The center button is retained by a special insert(spring steel) that is held in to the button by one-way flanges, and grips the center of the shift column with dimples set in to the plastic center shaft. The ring is clipped in to a small grove running around the outside of the chrome shaft, and may be damaged by too much upward pressure on ball knob.
It is easy to remove, but the method is not obvious at all. Here it is:
The center button of the knob pulls straight up. You may need to wrap it with electrical tape and use pliers (gently) as it is well usually seated very firmly. The black steel retainer spring will either stay inside the knob, or may remain on the interior shift shaft, either is OK.
You then reach down into the opening with a long nose set of ring pliers, and remove the ring clip holding the large ball knob on. This ring needs to spread and has very small holes on the clip. I had to file my ring pliers to get them to fit.
Once the ring clip is removed, the ball is easily removed.
To reinstall the ball knob, you must seat the knob correctly. There is a notch on the shifter shaft, and a key internal to the ball knob. Once these are aligned, the ball knob sits all the way doen on the shaft and you can replace the ring clip.
To reinstall the center button you may need reinsert the the spring steel retainer, but that should be self exlainatory when the parts are in your hand.
If you have problems depressing the center knob after reassembly, it is because the spring clip holding the center button has spread and is stopping the center shaft from operating smoothly. Simply remove the center button, remove the spring clip from the plastic button and install the spring clip on to the center shaft first. Once the spring clip is properly seated, the plastic button will slip on easily.
This is different from the firebird version, which is retained by a clip on the forward edge, and does not fit the 86 camaro.
You have to get rid of the in tank fuel pump and either sump the tank or buy an in tank style pickup. Buy a mechanical fuel pump with 6psi or less or get an electrical pump and a regulator. If its got an auto behind it with a TV cable you have to make a bracket for that on the carb. You need a different distributor, something like an HEI. Other than that it just bolts right in. Check out www.thirdgen.org its a great source of info if you need more.
Where can I find 1982 camaro body wiring diagrams?

How do you bleed a slave cylinder on a 95 camaro with no bleed valve?
There is no bleed screw on the 3.4 clutch. You have to unbolt the slave cylinder from the trans and drop it down so that it and the line are lower than the master cylinder, then pump the piston in/out to force any trapped air up to the master cylinder.
Stock motor is 170 hp. Good shorty headers and exhaust and cold air intake would bump that up to around 200hp. If you only have cold air intake, it's probably 175-180 hp. A high flow muffler alone is good for about 10 hp. Corvette specifications for the transmission probably means that a corvette 2nd servo piston was added to the transmission. It makes the 1-2 shift a little firmer.

Who modified camaro first copo or yenko?
The first significant modifications to the Chevrolet Camaro were made by Don Yenko, a well-known car dealer and racer, who began offering his modified versions in 1967. Yenko's cars, known as Yenko Camaros, featured performance upgrades and a more powerful engine. While COPO (Central Office Production Order) also played a role in the Camaro's performance modifications, particularly with the introduction of the COPO 9560 package, Yenko's modifications are often recognized as the first notable enhancements to the Camaro.
