there were 3 placements for the fuel tank in 73. behind the seat, under the bed, or saddle tanks. There is a mechanical gas pump which runs off the crankshaft of your engine and sucks gas out of your tank. In 73 they put the fuel filter after the pump so many times the pump needs replacing, if so put the fuel filter in front of the pump, it will last longer.

c5 corvette has bad sending units[ engineer world its called a transducer], $600 to replace since the intake manifold has to be R & R

ALSO, when cold the Oil pressure will be in the 70 psi range then when hot, on a stock c5 this happens quickly because GM designed the car to run hot to paSS EMMISSIONS,

IT WILL DROP TO APPROX 20 PSI.

Normal operationg oil pressure for a 1999 corvette should be anywhere for 50 to 60 psi depending on oil one is using.

It will fit, but you have to remove the rear ducts for the brakes, this won't do no harm to your car. Ducts are there to help cool the brakes, but no problem at all for everyday driving . Also it will sticks out about an inch or so. A c5 z06 with fender flares and 19x12 rest wheels look very beasty

It will be on the lower right(passenger) hand side of engine. Not hard to replace but can be hard to get at. Use a flare nut wrench to remove the gas line if a regular wrench slips. Just 2 bolts hold it into place. Install a new gasket, put some grease on the pushrod behind the pump to hold it up into motor and install new gasket, and pump with the two bolts. If pushrod does not move up into engine ,bump starter to nove the eccentric 1/2 turn then it will. Done. I hope this helps you. Mark

ok the only problem is, this location that Mark is talking about is for the carbureted engine,if the engine is fuel injected,the pump will be in the fuel tank and comes out the top of the tank where the fuel goes in.

Code 36- Distributor ignition system. Faulty high resolution (360X) pulse or multiple low resolution pulses detected. Check pigtail connector from distributor to main harness for any opens or shorts. Verify wiring is okay before replacing distributor.

Open the passenger door and the fuse box is in the right side of the dash. Turn the thumb screw and pull and the fuse box is exposed.

Check your lower cylinder drain plugs. They are under the cylinder fin covers. there are 3 Allen bolts that remove the covers and there is a special rubber plug there to drain the lower cylinders. 4 total plugs. That's where mine is leaking! Noe if I could figure out how they come out!

The 1993 Chevrolet Corvette inside door panels are held in place with eight retaining clips and two retaining bolts. The retaining bolts will be near the door handle. Remove the retaining bolts and pry outward on the retaining clips.
