In the USA, kids who lawfully work paper routes or for parents' business live normal term. In other nations, poor conditions GENERALLY lowers everyone's life expectancy.

According to the Florida Child labor laws. When school is in session you are able to work a maximum of three hours a day on school day, and up to a maximum of 8 hours a day on Saturday and Sunday.

When school is not in session, you are able to work up to a maximum of 8 hours a day, every day, as long as you only work up to 40 hours a week.

The hours of which you are legally allowed to work are anytime between 7:00 am and 9:00 pm.

There are many good things about being gifted. A gifted child always thinks differently which could help a lot. Also gifted children have special talents some people can't do. I know one gifted child with autism who has a photograpic memory. Being this way is not always a bad thing I think it just makes you special!

It does not appear the Kentucky requires a work permit. But there are specific rules as to what industries they can work in and how many hours a day/week they can work.

From what I've seen, it certainly is. A mother is pushing their child out from "down under" which is stretched out a whole lot. Women have to get stitches after a pregnancy too. So I'm saying yes it is super painful, but so worth it for a huge blessing in the end.

Minimum wage is a modern concept and didn't exist in 1750. In 1750 a person earned whatever he could make off of his crops or labor. At the time 90% of the United States was farms so that was the way most people earned a living. There were no electrical companies, gas companies, TV or cable, car payments, or house payments that people had to make. There were few banks, so the way people earned money and used it was different than today. In 1860 a typical civil war soldier would earn 10.00 a month as a good wage and that is one reason everyone ran to the Gold Rush to find gold because they could earn more and get rich. Even as late as 1968 the minimum wage was 1.68 an hour, so it has come up a bit. Yet, the price of everything is also higher and at today's wage it is still hard for a person to earn enough to meet all the bills they have just to live.
